More Britney Spears documentary tidbits have been released!

No more clips (yet), but plenty of drama-filled quotes to keep us feeling bad for her and feeling guilty about being so enthusiastic about seeing Britney Spears: For the Record (airs November 30th! squeeee!):

“My trust has really been battered. … Sometimes it can get kinda lonely. … I had totally lost my way. I lost focus. I lost myself. I let certain people into my life that were just bad people, because I was lonely. I really paid the consequences for that. Big time … What the hell was I thinking?

Do I know my life is weird? It’s all I’ve ever known. I don’t see it as being weird…I’m kind of stuck in this place and I’m like, How do you deal? I just cope with it every day…It’s better not to feel anything at all and have hope than to feel the other way…It’s bad. I’m sad. [She breaks down into tears.] Normal is really different for everybody…In my situation, I try to make it as normal as possible for me…It could be a lot worse. There are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do…I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I’m not anymore.

I can’t wait to see this show, but unfortunately I think the Britney-bashing will come to a grinding halt when we see her tortured side. There is one thing I don’t agree with– why blame the paparazzi for taking away things from you? Brit could move out of L.A. and jet in for business stuff, or make teeny adjustments that give her more space. It’s probably way more hopeless than that, isn’t it? Sigh.

A sneak peak of the documentary that everyone has been wanting to see, where Britney talks for 90 minutes, candidly about just how her life has unravelled so publicly is available.

Britney talks about how dance is therapy, and not everyone needs to go to therapy and talk about things. I think we might have discovered right there just what went wrong. Clearly, not enough dancing.

The other video touches on her marriage (presumably the one to K-Fed) and she says she got married for the idea of it, not because she was following her heart. Ok, the bys are going to love that when they are older.

Britney does however look like her old self, which is a positive. Time will tell whether the doco works wonders for her public reputation, and we all stop talking about her vagina. It would have to be a good documentary for that, though.

The documentary airs in the United States on MTV on November 30 and in the United Kingdom on 1 December on Sky 1.
