George Clooney Plans to Adopt Brad Pitt’s Kids

George Clooney has offered to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids.

The ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ actor, who has no children, claims he owes his ‘Ocean’s 11’ co-star a favor and is willing help out with his six children.

He joked to BANG Showbiz, “I am planning to adopt. I am going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids. I owe him.”

George previously revealed he has no plans to become a father, but spends time with Brad, his partner Angelina Jolie and their large brood whenever he feels lonely.

He said, “Even one kid running around my villa makes me nervous, so I’m definitely not a candidate for father of the year. If I need to surround myself with children and feel like I have this big extended family, I can always call Brad and Angelina and ask them to stay with me, just to remind myself why I’m so happy.”

George has also revealed he formed such a close bond with his ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ co-star Jason Schwartzman he feels like a parent to him.

When asked if voicing the animated family movie had made him broody, George said, “Broody? That’s a word that Americans don’t understand. Just having Jason here next me was like having a son. And he just got married by the way, so it will soon be like being a grandfather!”

The 48-year-old actor is currently dating Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis.

The ‘Fight Club’ actor – who raises six kids, Maddox, eight, Pax, five, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and 13-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with partner Angelina Jolie – oversaw the construction and design of the project, which boasts tunnels, platforms, seesaws and mazes.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Brad pores over architectural journals like other people pore over newspapers. He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax.

“It’s incredibly complex and cost a lot but Brad’s more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions – his kids and architecture.”

The rodents – who will live at the family’s mansion in the South of France – were chosen by Maddox and Pax after their parents took them to a local pet store last week.

An onlooker said: “The boys were really keen to get the gerbils and it was Angelina who reached into the cage to pet them before a store worker got them out.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are keen for the three-year-old tot to become a movie star and are even considering sending her to drama school when she is old enough so she can hone her acting skills.

A source said: “They’re thinking about enrolling her into a performing arts school. Shiloh is the most famous child in Hollywood and was the first baby to get a waxwork at Madame Tussauds. They think she could emulate their success.”

Shiloh – who appeared in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ alongside her father Brad – has apparently caught the acting bug and told her friends she wants to be just like her parents.

She reportedly said: “I want to do what mummy and daddy do.”

Although the couple – who raise another five children together – are keen for Shiloh to follow in their footsteps they don’t want her to start her career too young.

The source added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Shiloh’s a mix of the two best-looking actors in the world – she was born to be a star. Brad and Angelina were a little worried about her interest in acting, however, they have vowed to let their kids pursue their dreams.”

The Hollywood couple, who raise six children together, keep the spark alive in their relationship by sneaking off to make love in their favourite ‘special’ spots.

Referring to Brad’s recent claims the pair have sex in a grotto behind a waterfall in his pool, Angelina said: “Yeah, well, we’ve got a few special places. You keep it going.”

Brad laughingly added: “It’s not true. We have far more comfortable places to go. There is an old Hollywood property just a few minutes away. It has a grotto there. The rumour is Jimi Hendrix spent some time there. That’s the story. I run with it.”

Angelina also admitted she was thrilled when Brad recently described her as his “soulmate”.

The 34-year-old screen beauty said: “That is very cool. Well, he’s mine. It is what it is.”

The couple appeared together on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Brad’s new film ‘Inglourious Basterds’, and Brad took the opportunity to dismiss speculation their relationship has hit a rocky patch.

The 45-year-old actor – whose ex-wife is Jennifer Aniston – said: “We’ve both been around long enough and have been in enough relationships to know what we want out of it, and to know when we’re wasting time.”

Angelina – who was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton – insisted she is so happy with Brad they are planning to expand their already large family again.

She said: “We will always want more children. I would love to, but we have a lot of kids to raise!”

Quentin Tarantino says Brad Pitt is not a “pretty boy” anymore

‘Inglourious Basterds’ director Quentin Tarantino says the film’s star has become a “man” with it reached the zenith of his career.

Quentin said: “What’s really cool about Brad right now is that the pretty boy is gone. He’s a man now. He can bear the weight. Brad is at the zenith of his iconicness.”

The director – who had a starring role in ‘From Dusk Til Dawn’ and has appeared in numerous other films, including ‘Little Nicky’ and his own ‘Deathproof’ – also told how he has given up acting, to concentrate on his work behind the camera.

Referring to directing his 2003 kung-fu film he added: “I just lost the bug. ‘Kill Bill’ was so hard to make, I just thought, if I’m going to get up early and be on set all day, it’s going to be my movie. I just don’t have the patience to be on somebody else’s dumb movie.”

Quentin also said how, despite it taking him 10 years to bring ‘Inglourious Basterds’ to the screen, he wrote it at a furious pace, as he couldn’t stop having ideas for his characters.

He added: “I couldn’t turn my brain off. I couldn’t stop coming up with new avenues, new ideas. Suddenly it was like, what the f**k? Am I too big for movies now? Are movies too small for me? I mean, what’s that about?”

‘Inglorious Basterds’ opens in European cinemas from August 19.

Brad Pitt has hinted he wants to quit acting

Brad Pitt – who raises six children with partner Angelina Jolie – feels he has achieved almost everything he wants to do in his career and doesn’t believe there are as many possibilities for him as he gets older.

He said: “I think acting is a younger man’s game; there are fewer interesting parts for older people and we all get older. But I feel like I’ve done it. I’ve kind of had my time and that’s quite freeing.

“Of course there are still acting dreams left for me. But I’ll do them first
and then we’ll talk about them.”

Brad and Angelina – who have homes in France, California and New Orleans – move their family with them wherever in the world they are working on a movie and the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ star insists it is a lifestyle with many benefits for their children,

He explained: “Everywhere is interesting in its own way, each place has its own feel and something to offer: you pick up something, the kids are picking up something. They have this world view which we are very proud and happy that we are able to provide.

“We get peace in our lives. We got out here a couple of days early with the family and we get to hang out in a place in Provence. We’re pretty good at it. You carve out that time for the family. Do we get a little silence with the kids? No, not that kind of silence – silence is over at home, but we like that chaos.”

Angelina Jolie reportedly walked out on Brad Pitt -The Hollywood couple – who raise six children together – allegedly had a huge row following their twins Knox and Vivienne’s first birthday party at their rented Los Angeles home last Sunday July 21.

According to sources, the 34-year-old beauty stormed out of the bash after collapsing on the floor in floods of tears and booked into a room at a luxury Beverly Hills hotel.

A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “Minutes after the argument, she got up, threw together a bag of clothes and ran to her car. She checked straight into a suite at the Raffles L’Ermitage hotel.”

The actress has reportedly remained at the hotel – where her late mother Marcheline Bertrand stayed until her death in 2007 – and is refusing to speak to the 45-year-old actor.

The source explained: “Angelina is refusing to take Brad’s calls – the only way he knew she was OK was because the nannies had seen her. They have been saying she’s always thrilled to see the kids, who have been visiting two at a time.”

Friends of the actress say Angelina is using her stay at the hotel to feel close to her mother, who lost her seven-year battle with ovarian cancer aged just 56.

One said: “Angelina stays in the room for hours on end. It’s as if she’s trying to feel Marcheline’s spirit. She’s lighting candles and thinking about her mother.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – who met and fell in love on the set of the 2005 movie – are reportedly keen to film a follow-up as they think it will help put the passion back in their relationship.

A source close to Brad and Angelina – who raise six children together – said: “They’re hoping lightning will strike twice and they can re-spark the magnetism that captivated them five years ago.

“It’s no secret that relationship-wise, Brad and Angie are on the ropes. The stress of raising six kids and juggling two red-hot careers is wearing them down.”

Brad – who filmed ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston – has asked its screenwriter Simon Kinberg to write the sequel to the romantic action film.

The source added to National Enquirer magazine: “This time around the Smiths will have children, and the kids’ antics will be part of the story line.

“He’s hoping they’ll fall love all over again… to get their relationship back on track.”

Although Brad and Angelina have always denied their relationship started while the actor was still with Jennifer, the Oscar-winning beauty has admitted they fell for each other during filming.

Talking about the movie she wants her children to see when they’re older, 34-year-old Angelina said: “I definitely want the kids to see it when they’re older. Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love!”

Despite having nothing to do with the category, the camera focused in on Angelina Jolie.

What did poor little Ryan Seacrest do deserve this? Bran Pitt and Angelina Jolie purposely ignored an interview from Ryan Seacrest at the Golden Globes last night in a move that as per the video below was clearly intentional.

It gets better at the end when security steps in to keep Seacrest away from Hollywood’s most powerful celebrity couple.

The Dark Knight was the big winner at this year’s People’s Choice Awards, winning five gongs including favorite movie and on-screen pairing for stars Christian Bale and Heath Ledger.

Carrie Underwood took three People’s Choice Awards for favorite female singer, country song “Last Name,” and star under 35 years-old.

Adam Sandler was named funniest male star, Reese Witherspoon favorite female movie star, and Kate Hudson top leading lady.

Other winners included Dancing With the Stars as favorite reality show, House as favorite TV drama, Brad Pitt as favorite leading man, Angelina Jolie as favorite female action star and Ellen DeGeneres as favorite talk show host.

Google to buy NBC in ‘09 so says Glick

Oh man the funny shit just won’t quit rolling in today. First it was the porn industry looking for a few billion dollar bailout. Then comes word that Joe the Plumber is going to be a war correspondent for conservative new media PajamasMedia. Now we have Fox Business News personage Alexis Glick throwing out her business predictions for 2009 on her blog.

Number 2 on her list of 10 predictions is the one where she suggests that her previous employer NBC will get sold to Google

2. A major network gets sold in 2009. My bet is NBC.

NBC will get sold to Google in 2009. In a deteriorating credit environment, a collapse in equity valuations, a need to cut costs, shed assets and address the bleeding at GE Capital, Jeff Immelt will sell NBC to Google. Immelt will be forced to sell the one asset he has said that he had no plans of selling when NBC’s Network Television ratings continue to slide and declining advertising dollars leave little room for growth.

Look old media might be having a few problems but I just don’t see any of them; let alone NBC, going running into the arms of companies like Google. Of course she couldn’t let good enough alone with that but had to throw in a celeb prediction at number 10

10. Brangelina take the plunge and says their I do’s

It wouldn’t be a top ten predictions list without a little Hollywood glamour. Last year, I predicted Ellen Page would winner a Golden Globe and Academy Award for her performance in Juno. She did not win either but her star is still rising. This year The Curious Case of Benjamin Button will deliver Brad Pitt a new award to place on his mantle. His performance was outstanding. It was by far one of my favorite movies this year. And it’s not just because he’s cute ! Let me not forget the beautiful and wildly talented Angelina Jolie who is the envy of just about every woman. Is it possible to look that good after delivering three babies? While I have yet to see Changeling, I hear her performance was outstanding. Might they both walk away with an award for their tremendous performances? I wouldn’t doubt it. Despite claims that they would wait to tie the knot until same sex marriages were legal or until there kids requested it, the time has come for them to tie the knot. Don’t expect it to be glitzy and glamorous. I expect it will be quiet, elegant and a small family and friend affair which will make them once again the most watched couple in 2009

Maybe she should stick to doing celeb predictions because I think that has a better chance of coming true.

Brad Pitt Defends Angelina. . . and Jennifer Aniston

Brad Pitt’s looking older than I imagine on the cover of W magazine (sob!), but it’s what he said in the interview that’s really got me thinking. Remember when Jen made a comment about Angelina being “uncool”? Even Brad was understanding enough to say it was probably taken out of context, so we can relax.

There were a ton of tidbits in this great interview– here are the highlights:

On his relationship with Jennifer Aniston: “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”

On Jen saying that Angelina’s “uncool”: “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”

Talking about Mr. and Mrs. Smith Drama: “What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”

In support of gay marriage: “People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying. What if someone said, ‘Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.’ No one would stand for that, and I wouldn’t allow anyone to say that either. I’d fight them in the same way.”

On his family: “I’m scared to death of death. I quit smoking. That was the only thing that got me to quit. That was it. Done.”

On… Himself: “By nature, I keep moving, man. My theory is, be the shark. You’ve just got to keep moving. You can’t stop.”

For some reason, I think he’s managed to quell any remaining JA drama. Maybe the predictions were wrong after all.

Brad Pitt Talks Christmas Gifting, Gets Kumbaya On Us

Brad Pitt gave another one of his positive interviews to Hello! in which he explained that he’s planning on settling down in France for the next three years. Oh yeah, and the whole clan is still really happy, especially without all the “American cartoon television.”

Brad explained that the Jolie-Pitt Christmas is not full of “pressure to make [the children] big or expensive gifts,” but then again, the kids surely aren’t going without! He claimed that “The kids don’t ask for big gifts for the reason that they don’t see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic.”

He also took the time to extoll the virtues of having a multicultural family, saying “I look down at the family and I see our boy from Vietnam, and our daughter from Ethiopia, and our girl’s from Namibia,and our son who’s from Cambodia, and . . . they are all brothers and sisters, man. They are all the same blood.”

Continuing, Brad commented that “It is such elation to see them all living together, and getting along together, and to know that we were able to give them a home — in some cases, to give them a life. It’s a wonderful thing that we are able to do this because of the jobs we have — and it’s a selfish thing, too, because the rewards are extraordinary.”

Okay– we get it! Does anyone else feel like Brad and Angelina are beating a dead horse when they do these interviews? It’s cool to get personal details, but hearing where the kids are from– again– feels suspiciously like “interview filler.”

At least Brad admits that he’s been “dragging” his famly from place to place, and that they are ready to “give them a break.” Finally!

Brad Pitt Sells Out: Japanese Cellphone Commercial

Brad Pitt snuck off to Japan and filmed a 30-second Japanese TV spot for the cell-phone company, SoftBank Mobile.

In the olden days, we would never have found out about this, except when some netowrk had an hour spot to fill and they ran “Worlds Craziest Commercials.” Those days are over. God Bless Youtube.

Obviously he did it because he needs the cash he is a baby daddy now. And it was a fabulous role that really stretched him, so how could he pass it up? What will the Academy think of his pimpin’ efforts? Could this cost him the Oscar?

Brad Pitt on Oprah: Shiloh wants to be called John

Brad Pitt will appear in a pre-recorded interview on Oprah tomorrow (November 19) and some of the interview has been released.

On the fun side Pitt tells Oprah that his daughter Shiloh wants to change her name to ‘John.’

“She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing. So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want …’ – ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff that’s cute to parents, and it’s probably really obnoxious to other people.”

On child raising, Pitt praises partner Angelina Jolie for keeping the kids in check: “Angie’s militant about it. She’s right on top of it. Thank God, because I’m always forgetting something.”

Jennifer Aniston Says That Angelina’s Actions Were “Uncool”

Jennifer Aniston has finally spoken out about Angelina Jolie drama in an interview in December’s Vogue. It sounds like Jennifer’s still smoldering about Angie, because she admitted that “What Angelina did was very uncool” in what is being called a “candid” interview.

An insider who saw the publication (which will be released in a couple of days) claimed that “She must have had a lot on her mind, because she lets go on everything,” while the MailOnline thinks that her comment “appears to be a direct jab at Miss Jolie’s 2007 interview with the same magazine.”

Angelina Jolie told Vogue last year that “If she wanted to [meet] then I would be open to it,” which was thought to be quite the audacious remark in ‘07. Is Jen finally hitting back?

I suppose Angelina can strike that comment that she’s “never hurt anybody.”

Angelina Jolie Talks Sexy Pictures and Cake Baking

Angelina Jolie gave another one of her irritatingly perfect interviews recently, this time with The Sunday Times. It’s a hefty one that’ll keep the tabloids humming along for ages, and my favorite parts are when Angelina claims to have “never hurt anybody” in her life, and journalist Tony Allen Mills sounds like he’s totally crushing on her and her “milk-heavy curves.” That’s not all, though!

Angelina let us in on those juicy W magazine details (from her “scandalous” photo shoot), saying that:

“It became this one-week project in our house.” [...] The way she tells it, matters quickly got out of hand, and some of the photographs proved far too sexual to be released on an unsuspecting American audience.

“Yeah, we thought about it, we’d look at the pictures as art and say this is a really interesting photograph, but then we’d know better and we’d think about how it was going to be received. So we made it a little more tame than it was originally.”

I’m glad she had the foresight to hold back on the racier stuff, considering the reaction to her innocent breastfeeding shots. Nobody needs that kind of drama.

What did strike me was Angelina’s creepy description of her family, likened by Mills to “baking a cake” and sounding impersonal to the extreme:

“Most likely we’ll adopt again. As we layer them in, with two new ones, we’re watching that balance, that shape and form, and once we feel that’s solid, we’ll know when it’s time to bring in another.”

“The two new ones” are Vivienne and Knox, and “them” refers to her precious kiddies in general. How personal, WTF?! I think she goes into autopilot when she gives interviews now.

Jennifer Aniston Plans Twins With “Secret Fertility Treatments”

Jennifer Aniston’s supposedly planning on having John Mayer’s twins, but according to Star magazine, it’s basically the same thing as already being pregnant. Their newest issue proclaims “She’s having John’s babies,” so let the jealousy rumors fly! Star reports:

“Jen has been undergoing fertility treatments, determined to have a pair of babies with John. Jen’s biological clock began ticking so loudly that she had some of her eggs frozen just in case she didn’t meet Mr. Right in time. But now that she’s proposed to John and he’s excited about being a dad, she’s doing everything she can to conceive before her 40th birthday in February. She’s even been having alternative medicine treatments to increase her chances of having twins.”

Star also claims that she’s munching on cassava to boost her fertility, and John ordered a bunch of baby books on Amazon to study up. One thing is definitely true– the clock is ticking, which is why I half believe this.

I guess those baby bump rumors weren’t true quite yet.

Angelina Jolie may quit acting for her kids

Angelina Jolie has hinted in this months Italian edition of Vanity Fair that she may give up acting completely and devote all her time to her family.

Jolie claimed that she had changed priorities and was no longer the “angry young woman” of her 20s.

“The kids are my priority, so it’s possible that from now on I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether. I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s.”

Jolie noted that she has interests outside of acting to keep her busy as well:

“In reality my life is a lot more chaotic and adventurous now. Brad and I pilot airplanes, we travel non-stop, we go to difficult places and we have chosen to do it taking all of the kids with us. I feel a lot braver now than when I was an angry young woman.”
