]]> Although we may not usually cover new mobile phones, iPhone aside, we broke the rule last week when we ran the first leaked pictures of the Blackberry Storm. More pictures have emerged via Crackberry.com, and they’re worth posting.

I stand by what I said last time: this is THE hotness, and unlike the T-Mobile G1, this is a REAL iPhone competitor, that marries some of the best parts of the iPhone with the reliable Blackberry platform that still remains a business favorite.

]]> New shots of the Blackberry Storm have leaked online, showing in detail the phone RIM hopes will challenge the iPhone head on.

It’s not the prettiest interface we’ve ever seen, but unlike the T-Mobile G1 Android phone, the Blackberry Storm challenges the iPhone directly complete with on screen keyboard. Boy Genius Report says that it’s too Blackberry like, but that’s half the point: this is a phone targeted at Blackberry users tempted by the iPhone, but have held back from switching.
