The former Hills star appears to be so over reality television, commenting on her future in the genre following the April wrap of her VH1 show Audrina.

Patridge made her start on The Hills after first getting a job as a receptionist in the entertainment industry back in 2006. From there, she went on to appear on the MTV hit more than any of the other show’s stars. After The Hills wrapped up, Patridge kept working- taking a role in the film Sorority Row and being cast on ABC’s dancing competition property Dancing With the Stars. 

Finally, the reality show star got her own title on VH1, the show Audrina, which began filming late last year. But according to Patridge, the show probably won’t continue. The aspiring actress says she’s set her sights on acting, but doesn’t say whether VH1 wanted to keep Audrina going:

“No, I don’t think we are [filming further episodes of Audrina.] We finished in April and I kind of decided I wanted to take some time off from reality. I want to do something more like acting or hosting.”

Patridge was similarly coy on the matter of whether she’s gotten any “work done,” considering former co-star Heidi Montag was very public about the massive number of procedures she’d endured in her unsuccessful quest for stardom. Patridge flat-out denies she’s been under the knife…

“They always ask me about that because of Heidi [Montag] and there’s all these rumors and they all say I’ve had, like, six procedures, and I’m, like, ‘Where do you get that?’ Look at the pictures. I fluctuate in weight a lot… And as far as my face, I’d never had anything done.”

…almost. When pointedly asked about breast implants, Patridge says she doesn’t “like to talk about that.” She then added that due to her “pectoralis something,” her breasts “look different sizes all the time.”

Imagine how embarrassing this will be a couple of years down the road, when she’s wondering what went wrong. Justin Bobby = not a keeper. That being said, L.C.’s best friend Lo and known Audrina-hater is so happy right now. If it was her birthday, she definitely got her wish.

Audrina revealed to OK! in Atlantic City that “It’ll show me in a different light with my real, true friends who I grew up with. It would be so much fun,” but if her taste in friends is anything like her taste in scumbag boyfriends, then I’d rather watch Whitney’s spinoff any day.

She added that “”I feel like I’m ready — like all of us girls on the show — to go our own ways.” Audrina’s friendship with L.C. is o-v-e-r. They sound like they hate each other now. I guess that’s the price you pay in show business and to get incredible salaries with tons of perks.

MTV reality series The Hills has been renewed for a 5th season.

The show documenting the life of Lauren Conrad and her friends in Los Angeles after Conrad’s move from Laguna Beach, California debuted back in 2006, and gave the world Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag and Whitney Port.

People got the scoop from Audrina Patridge: “There is going to be a fifth season. We just found out.”

“We have fun with each other and we’ve stuck it out this long, so we might as well do another one.”

“At one point, all of us were like, ‘No, we don’t want to do another season,’” she says. “I wanted to do more movies, and Whitney moved to New York and she’s doing her own spin-off. And Lauren’s dating [My Boys actor] Kyle [Howard] but he can’t be on the show because he’s on another show, so that makes it hard.”

Audrina Patridge isn’t helping her reputation as the slowest one on The Hills: the poor girl is back with intermittent flame Justin-Bobby. After power dating more guys than anyone else on the show, you’d think she would have found someone better by now.

The newest drama makes for some especially bad timing when I think back to Monday’s episode: Justin-Bobby watched Audrina get topless and then agreed to head to Cabo with their friends– where he expects to take advantage of their open (crappy) relationship. It’s too bad for Audrina that JB talked about his “hall pass” on camera, because it makes her look extra dumb.

Audrina needs to re-watch all of the Justin-Bobby episodes of The Hills, because I’m confident that condensed JB could turn everyone off– maybe even Audrina. I’m still hoping.

And by “workplace,” I mean “club.” I was so excited to see Lauren Conrad flanked by Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth last night while they were filming The Hills– that means they’ve made up. Right?! For all of you who have watched the show or have read about it here, you know that things are never that simple.

Poor Audrina Patridge was puzzled last weekend when rumors circulated about her Hills co-star L.C. hooking up with her ex Justin-Bobby. Lauren promptly denied it and blamed it on Spencer. As you do. He denied having anything to do with it, of course, but I figured the girls would bond over their hatred of the guy.

Even though the two are currently filming The Hills and seem pretty amicable on camera, Audrina came onto “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to talk about problems with Lauren. Here’s the short and sweet version:

“Audrina explained that she’d tried to talk to Lauren about what really happened with Justin and that Lauren had hung up on her. She also took issue with the fact that rather than speak to her directly about whatever did or didn’t happen, Lauren had chosen to speak to the tabloids.”

So most of what you see on The Hills isn’t real, because these girls are fighting on the sidelines for sure. First Heidi, then Spencer, then Brody, then Doug, and now Audrina? L.C.’s running out of friends to fight with! I’m sorry, but I think that L.C. might be the problem here.

Lauren Conrad is the object of a lot of flack: you know, for getting jobs that maybe she doesn’t deserve, for having a bad attitude, and being a predictable dresser. Ahem. I may or may not agree, but no girl deserves what happened last night. I’m starting to slip into the Lauren Conrad camp after all. What is with all of her friends?

Here goes: Lauren goes to Italy, Stephanie Pratt spills to Audrina that she might want to date Lauren’s ex Doug (mistake), and then Audrina tells all of Lauren’s friends before she gets home (mistake mistake). What was she thinking? Oh, wait.

But what gets me is that Audrina doesn’t just tell concerned parties. She tells everyone she knows, and then brings it up again for good measure. She tells her co-workers, she tells Lo, and she tells Justin-Bobby, but worst of all, she tells Heidi and Spencer. Inexcusable! I am glad that Audrina just moved out, because she was probably a week away from getting kicked out.

Magically, Lo’s back to being the good guy again.

Zipping through my usual Hills fix on MTV, I noticed something: not only has Audrina Patridge’s disconcerting stare been acknowledged on their company blog, it’s been suggested that it’s something I need to. . . practice? Too weird.

Remote Control caught my eye with a piece entitled “Audrina Patridge Masters Art of Sexy Stare (And Shares Her Secret!)”:

“Whether she’s rolling her eyes at Justin Bobby, bobbing her head at the weird shows or initiating mascara-streaming cryfests with her on/off BFF, Audrina Patridge never leaves the Hills‘ pad without a pair of skinny jeans and a fair amount of expertly applied eye makeup. [...] That’s right, the buxom brunette is spilling the secret behind her smoky bedroom eyes and revealing her tips for applying dramatic eyeliner without accidentally landing yourself in the E.R.!”

So they’re saying it’s more than just looking at some random point on the wall? ‘Cause I don’t think that her “sexy stare” has anything to do with liquid liner.

The Hills salaries explained! I’ve always been curious how much Heidi and Spencer make, since they’re so flash and obviously Heidi’s (ahem) invested in herself quite a bit since the first episode.

According to an In Touch source, Lauren gets paid the most at $75,000 per episode, and “If you bring drama, you’ll get more money.” If that’s the case, Spencer should really be the one leading the pack, salary-wise!

However, the secret source revealed that “The only reason LC gets paid more than anyone else is because she demanded in her original contract that no one could ever get paid more than her.”

Well, I guess I’ll have to drum up some extra resentment since I’ll still be watching it tonight.

Oldie-but-Goody: Lauren Conrad Rakes It In is a post from: The Inquisitr

Heading on 21+ hours later, I’ve still got The Hills on the brain. I’ll spare you the details of how many times I’ve streamed and dissected the episode and the live after-show (so you don’t make fun of me), but here’s what I’ve got stuck in my craw post-Hills:

1. Lauren “Lo” Bosworth’s asymmetrical bang-fringe is out of control. Her part is so far over it looks like half her head is shaved.

2. Heidi and Spencer need to break up. I know it’s not going to happen, but since when can your boyfriend/fiance insult your sister (Hair Extension Holly) and get away with it? Guts he’s got, good manners not so much.

3. Speaking of rudeness, how could Lo insult Audrina Patridge to her face and then look like the victim just because Audrina says something assertive (for once)? “We’ll never be friends”? OMG. Not everyone’s passive-aggressive all the time. And look! Lo’s still defending herself.

4. Lauren Conrad is an awkward dater. Why else would she invite love interest Doug out to Audrina Patridge’s guaranteed-to-be-awkward party? Lauren’s life is drama-rife already; couldn’t she have spared him?

5. Heidi Montag’s fabulous quotes continue. Last season it was “Old Water Under the Bridge.” Now it’s “You are, like, Early Bird. We are Late Birds.” Less improv, please– I never thought that I’d call for scripted Heidi, but that’s what she needs.

6. Despite #5, I like Heidi Montag a lot more now. She’s still skipping out on work, but she did it for her sister’s arrival yesterday. I thought that she was too self-absorbed to care. But there she is, bonding with her sister and even inviting her to move in with her and flesh-beard (Spencer).

7. It’s not the end of Justin-Bobby, from the looks of Season 4 Episode 2+ trailer. I feel your pain.

8. I hope that Whitney Port doesn’t disappear in this season. Yes, she has a new boyfriend, but I hope this season isn’t Lauren and Whitney acting “busy” while standing up in what looks like a slightly uncomfortable work environment. More lunching, please!

Perfectly timed with her new single “Overdosin’” (which is “about when you fall in love with someone, and you’re just overdosing off of their love”), Heidi Montag has taken the opportunity to tell PEOPLE exactly how much she’d like to rip that throne right out from under her Hills comrade L.C.. How comforting. I think this is why she’s not invited to the after parties anymore. Behold:

Montag: “I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we’re just beginning.”
Pratt: “Sometimes the narrator has to throw their hate up on the wall and pass the mic. It’s my favorite show. I love it. The Hills season 10 is what I’m going for.”

DUH, Spencer-with-the-flesh-beard. It’s like the best meal ticket ever and your key to things like 12 million dollar houses.

If I were Lauren Conrad, I’d be a little scared. These two seem like the type to stop at nothing to get what they want (which is money, obviously).

Don’t forget that The Hills will be on tonight, folks! Not like MTV is letting me forget.

For Audrina Patridge’s sake entirely, I hope that this is true: she’s been spotted with her new man, BMX rider Corey Bohan, who’s been in and out of her life ever since she met him last October. Did she finally manage to throw Justin-Bobby under the bus and get on with it?! Corey must be patient, since he has been dating Audrina while she was still kind of involved with the scumrat. It looks like they’re finally “going steady”. Snicker. Audrina’s love life is the only thing she doesn’t have completely under control, since she’s now being offered jobs left and right.

I hope she’s dumb enough to talk about it when The Hills premieres on Monday! (Possible, very possible.)

Audrina already gets paid too much for doing too little. . . and apparently she also commands paid-for appearances at clubs at the going rate of $5,000 per hour! Thanks to TheDirty.com, we get to experience the wonder that is her freshly-inked deal with a San Diego Club. Audrina’s on a get-paid-for-doing-nothing streak and (like Heidi and Spencer), she’s laughing all the way to the bank:

“The Maxim model, 23, demands ‘a secure VIP area with complimentary beer, mixed drinks and bottle service (two bottles) and at least one security guard at all times,’ according to the rider.”

I’d prefer to see Whitney Port partying it up any day, and at least she wouldn’t be giving photogs the dead eye (see above as well). If that security team has to do anything except escort Audrina to and from her car because so many people actually care, this is some sorry news indeed. Stay tuned and hope for the best.

Lauren Conrad inadvertently spiced things up when she was spotted exiting a club and showing off more than she probably intended. While there was no nip in sight, her dress did dip dangerously low– is she going to net more male Hills fans with that maneuver?!

Since Lauren’s always played it safe, it’s actually refreshing to see her in another light. While that light, I would say, is somewhat similar to Hills comrade Audrina’s, at least she’s not pondering her fame for the time being.
