Demi Moore likes it when women flirt with husband Ashton Kutcher

The 46-year-old actress has no problem with people making lusty advances towards her 31-year-old spouse as it makes her realise how lucky she is to have him.

Asked if she gets bothered when women flirt with Ashton, Demi replied via Twitter: “I take it as a compliment!”

This is not the only piece of personal information about her husband Demi has relayed on the social networking website recently.

She admitted she was left confused after she awoke to find Ashton seemingly begging her for sex.

Referring to Ashton’s new movie ‘Spread’, Demi explained on her page: “Woke up 2 hubby loudly repeating “sexy time” “sexy time” thought that was my cue until I realized he was doing radio interviews for Spread (sic)!

Ashton recently revealed he had no problem stripping off for the movie – which includes several sex scenes – even though it meant crew members seeing his manhood.

He said: “Once you do the first nude scene and the whole crew has seen your schwantz then you’re fine.”

Ashton Kutcher – who stars as a serial seducer of rich women in his latest movie ‘Spread’ – is happy for any of his colleagues to see his appendage, but did starve himself so his stomach would be flat for the film.

He said: “Once you do the first nude scene and the whole crew has seen your schwantz then you’re fine.

“I didn’t have to worry about diet. Pretty much I generally take on whatever is the abusive diet of my character. This guy pretty much didn’t eat much, so he had this body.”

Ashton deliberately set out to find a part where he could play a rogue akin to Warren Beatty in ‘Shampoo’ or Richard Gere in ‘American Gigolo’ and sought out the former to ask his advice.

Ashton added: “I definitely look up to Warren Beatty as an actor. So I sat down with Warren two years ago and told him I appreciated his work in ‘Shampoo’ and ‘Bonnie and Clyde’.

“We sat down for breakfast, and I told him I was actively looking for a movie like ‘Shampoo’.

“I told him I wanted to play a morally compromised charm artist. We talked about what he did in ‘Shampoo’ and where that character came from for him on an energetic level.”

‘Spread’, which also stars Anne Heche, is released in the US and some European countries this month.

Mischa Barton is “unbelievable” in her new TV show, claims Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher, who is executive producer of ‘The Beautiful Life’, revealed Mischa has been a true professional on the set following her recent hospitalization.

He said: “She is amazing in the show. I can’t wait for people to see it. I think people will be really impressed. For me, I think it is the best I have ever seen Mischa act. I was so excited to have her on the show. I was already a fan of her work, so it was great to get her. I have seen the first episode and she is unbelievable.”

Ashton has also admitted he had no idea why Mischa was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on July 15. He told gossip website RadarOnline: “I didn’t know what was going on. I don’t think anyone really knew what was happening. I am a producer of the show and so I had to do everything I could to protect the show. I spoke to
Mischa about three days later and I understood what was going on. We’re fine, and most importantly she’s fine – she’s great.”

Mischa’s co-star Sara Paxton has revealed the cast and crew showed their support for the troubled 23-year-old actress when she arrived at work just two days after being released from hospital.

She said: “We are all really close. We hang out together and we go and watch movies together and have dinner together. We are very good friends. When we saw Mischa we all had a group hug. She is awesome. We are all working, and moving forward. Everything is great. Everything’s totally back to normal.”

‘A Beautiful Life’ – in which Mischa plays a model who is desperate to remain successful – is due to air in the US next month.

Four years after marrying toy-boy Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore has decided that she’ll only now happily take his name as part of the bargain/

According to reports, Demi now feels “comfortable” with the name change, which might be code for “I wasn’t sure it would last, but 4 years in we might go the distance.”

Demi was born Demi Guynes, and picked up the surname Moore from her first husband Freddie Moore. During a 13 year marriage to Bruce Willis, she stuck with Moore, making the decision to change her name to Kutchner marginally more interesting.

About three hours ago Asthon Kutcher reached 1,000,000 followers on Twitter. He beat @CNNbrk with about 2000 followers. About 30 minutes later the CNN feed reached the mark

Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) confirmed his win with this tweet: “You guys are amazing.” CNN briefly after tweeted “Congrats @aplusk. Ashton Kutcher is the first twitter account to reach 1MM followers.”

Kutcher had another joker in his hand. He will be appearing on The Oprah Show Friday morning (US time) and that would probably had given him the last followers he needed.

3 days ago Ashton Kutcher challenged CNN in a video on the network’s Larry King live programme. He wanted to show CNN how an individual could potentially have an equal voice to a major network. He is donating 10,000 mosquito nets worth $100,000 to Malaria No More.

Until earlier this week @CNNbrk was run by John Cox, but CNN “acquired” the Twitter account for an unknown amount. According to Twitter rules you aren’t allowed to sell your Twitter account.

The next person to reach the 1,000,000 mark could be Britney Spears. She is about 40,000 followers away.

About 18 minutes in the video Ashton reaches the mark.

PS: Ashton hasn’t dropped under 1 MM followers since. He is still gaining more.

Killer of Ashton Kutcher’s ex Ashley Ellerin facing trial

A man accused of killing Ashley Ellerin, the former girlfriend of Ashton Kutcher, and one other person is facing trial in Los Angeles, officials have said.

Kutcher was reported at the time (2001) to have came by Ellerin’s house to take her to a party, but received no answer. Kutcher told police he saw through a back window what looked like wine stains on the carpet before he left. Ashley Ellerin was found the next day stabbed to death. Kutcher was never considered a suspect.

The second victim, Maria Bruno was founded stabbed to death in a similar fashion only 40 miles away in 2005. A Santa Monica woman nearly became the third victim last year, but managed to fight back and survive. DNA from blood left at the scene led to Gargiulo’s arrest.

Police are continuing their investigation, and fear that Gargiulo may have been a serial killer active for over 15 years.

How Ashton Kutcher wins at using New Media

Ashton Kutcher is far from a popular celebrity in the tabloids or the blogosphere. The toy boy of Demi Moore has come in for a lot of criticism, some of it deserved since he hooked up with Demi.

And yet, Ashton Kutcher has embraced new media, from Twitter to Qik, and you can only say he’s doing it right.

We first wrote about Kutcher on Twitter back in January, when he said words beyond his years, suggesting that booing outgoing President George W Bush was disrespectful. Many may not have agreed, but we got it straight from him, and that’s the key difference. Not filtered, or misconstrued, but directly from him.

Kutcher isn’t a one hit wonder with new media, and he’s taken to Qik as well to show bits of his life. Recently he came under fire for criticizing a neighbor creating noise; again, a situation where some disagreed, but the key difference is that it was unfiltered. On Feb 9 he recorded on his mobile paparazzi calling Demi Moore a “a crazy little bitch.” The key difference was that for the time that video was taken, Kutcher controlled the output. Not the Paps, not his media handlers or reps, him.

Whether you agree or not with each message is in some ways irrelevant. Celebrities properly using tools like Qik or Twitter (ie: not letting their publicist or reps update it) really break down the barriers between what is reported to be the truth, and what actually is, even when it’s not always good.

Some won’t like me saying this, but Kutcher, along with Stephen Fry are leading examples of how celebrities could and should be communicating with fans.

For me, I’ve never been an Ashton Kutcher fan before, but now I’m hooked. Honest, raw feedback from a star in the spotlight is something we need more of. Sure, I don’t always agree with everything he says, what I do agree with is that it’s clear that what we are seeing comes from him, not some publicist lead PR driven version of what he should be.

Even if you don’t like him, credit him for being out there; he leads by example.

BACON’D! Kevin Bacon Punks Ashton Kutcher

Kevin Bacon was so cool its almost uncool to call him cool. Now there is this preview of Kevin Bacon’s new prank/reality show, BACON’D! It’s clearly a spoof of Ashton Kutcher’s reality TV series Punk’d.

I am not sure whether the “sneak peek” is real, or its a spoof of a spoof. But it does seem a little desperate. Some commenters who are taking the video seriously are saying he did it because he lost money in the Maddoff scheme.

There are a couple of laugh out loud moments, I personally love where is in the photo with a tourist and whent hey take the snap he hides his face.

“That’s the oldest bacon in the book!” “It’s bacon o’clock” and “I think everyone in Venice Beach, California should check their cholesterol count because everybody just got BACON’D!”

TC50: Payola or a dodgy site from Ashton Kutcher, I know which I’d pick

The battle of the startup conferences is in full swing today, with DEMOFall08 up against TechCrunch50.

I’ve shared my thoughts previously on my issues with the marketing pitch for TechCrunch50, that it’s a great conference damaged by a hate filled marketing pitch, where there is room in the market for both DEMO and TechCrunch50.

The constant pitch from Arrington and Calacanis has been that TechCrunch50 is about overcoming what they term as “the payola” of DEMO, where the best startups are featured by a selection criteria based on merit, not their ability to pay.

That may be the case, but how do you explain Ashton Kutcher’s BlahGirls in the first session?

The one thing right about BlahGirls is the name, because Blah is the idea. It’s a celebrity gossip site, with some basic animation thrown in for good measure. There is some basic interactivity with the cartoon characters, which at an extremely long stretch might qualify it as being different. But seriously, the best 50 new startups in the land, and a celebrity blog is on the list. Either the state of startups is so extremely poor in 2008 that this is what’s left in the final 50, or payola has been replaced by letting a site in only because it is backed by a C-List celebrity that is only there to get extra press for the conference. It’s fairly obvious which one it is.

Now I have absolutely no issue with Kutcher and his startup being picked for the conference, and the marketing angle of having him there has obvious benefits for the conference as a whole, but when you set a conference up as being a holy grail of startup events, one of purity where payola has been replaced by merit alone, giving a spot to third rate celebrity blog run by a celebrity is an EPIC FAIL in credibility. Given the choice of “payola” or a dodgy gossip site, I know which one I’d pick.
