Ashlee Simpson says husband Pete Wentz loves her stretch marks.

The singer-and-actress admits her body has changed since giving birth to the couple’s 11-month-old son Bronx but knows the Fall Out Boy rocker still finds her attractive.

She said, “Pete isn’t worried about stretch marks. He always makes me feel sexy.

“There’s going to be a time when I’m way curvier, and that’ll be sexy too. What defines sexy is not someone’s weight. Personally I like curves… I want to look good for me. I want to feel good.”

Ashlee, 25, says she gets regular exercise by carrying Bronx around all the time.

She said in an interview with Women’s Health magazine, “I do Bronx Pilates! And these biceps are from holding him. He’s in my arms all the time.”

Ashlee also revealed being a wife and mother has “humbled” her and everything else comes second to her family.

She said, “Being married made me able to share more. Now Pete and Bronx come first. It has humbled me.”

Ashlee Simpson doesn’t like the discussion around sister Jessica Simpson’s weight gain, so she’s blogged how disgusting it is, given Obama was inaugurated last week.

“Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy… I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News”

So there you have it: Jessica Simpson’s weight is off limits because Obama is President. I guess increased consumption of food is good for the economy as well.

For Christmas Ashlee Simpson and Peter Wentz gave their fans a first look at baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz, who was born a little over 4 weeks ago.

On their happy holidays card, the couple say they couldn’t be happier and encourage fans to donate to one of their three charities of choice. Sadly there was no fund for the therapy Bronx Mowgli is going to need when he grows up. I would have donated to that fund, poor kid.

Pete Wentz Tasted Ashlee Simpson’s Breast Milk; It’s “Soury” & “Weird”

Pete Wentz has continued his massive tour of TMI, which means Ashlee has not yet been able to keep him from talking about her body, previous relationships, their bedroom behavior (NSFW), or stuff that encourages stalkers/freaks who seem to follow every celebrity this time of year (ahem, ahem, ahem).

Sirius Radio’s Morning Mash-Up ushered in Pete’s next disastrous interview in which he describes tasting breast milk yesterday. Not altogether unusual (remember that episode of Friends?), but probably not something Ashlee wants to read about after fielding his last spectacular overshare moment. Voila:

“Can I tell you, I’ve tasted it. My mom was sitting here, I swear to God she was sitting here and she’s like ‘It’s the sweetest milk on the planet, you can’t even…’ – I was like ‘What are you talking about?’ It kind of tasted, I don’t really know how to explain what it tasted like – it’s kind of soury weird milk. The baby loves it, it’s the only thing he’s had a chance to have.”

Can Ashlee do something about this? He’s out of control.

Pete Wentz Denies Baby Pic Rumors

Pete Wentz has hit back at claims that nobody’s interested in baby Bronx Mowgli’s pics, saying that he and Ashlee were actually offered a ton of money from various magazines. We never implied that little Bronx was ugly, but Pete thought he’d make sure that we knew his kid was super-duper cute, too. Here’s his explanation:

About baby pics gossip: truth is like every celeb couple we were offered
mounds and mounds of money by mags from here to Guam to pimp out the baby. We just don’t want to go down that road with him.

We are not placing judgment on those that do as they often use the money in a very charitable way. However, we have made the decision to not sell Bronx’s baby pictures right now. We understand that like other celebrities have said, “there is a bounty on our heads” for these pictures. There is a danger when there are cameras being held over walls and into our backyard. We are followed day and night and that was fine when it was us but we are going to do our best to shelter Bronx from that as much as possible. Its scary to be followed by 10 cars to your home. We understand the curiosity, just not the viciousness that comes along with it when it becomes so insatiable. We know there will be a time when we’ll share him with everyone because that insatiable curiousity becomes unsafe or simply because we’re proud parents who want to show him off! We know our fans support and care about us and want to know about our family and we’ve always been straight up and open with those who care about us most, so at some time, when it makes sense, Bronx will be out in the world.

In the meantime, we’d like to say thank you to those who have allowed us relative privacy in letting us just be a family for now – and to enjoy all the happiness he’s brought us.

Why so defensive? I hate it when celebs attack rumors personally and not through their rep; they just make everything seem true.

Now I want to see Bronx: he could be cute, but he’ll probably be short when he grows up.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz voted worst celebrity baby name of 2008

Congratulations to Peter Wentz and Ashlee Simpson, their four week old baby boy Brownx Mowgli Wentz has topped this year’s 2008 list of worst celebrity baby names, according to babynames.com

The one-month-old’s name was voted the most disliked male baby name in a survey of visitors to the baby names website.

The daughter of actress Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg, Jagger Joseph Blue was crowned the worst girl’s name of 2008. If this site was around when Soleil Moon Frye was born we bet she would have taken out that title.

Second worst boys name was Sophocles Iraia Clement son of Flight of the Conchord’s star Jemaine Clement and his wife Miranda Manasiadis.

BabyNames.com CEO Jennifer Moss praised Nicole Richie and Joel Madden for calling their daughter Harlow Winter Kate saying: “Harlow Winter Kate is a glamorous name, without being too unusual.”

Other names adored by the masses in 2008 include: Brendan Joseph (Mark Walhberg and Rhea Durham’s son), and Maddie Briann ( Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge’s daughter)

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins Max and Emme won best twin names beating out Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in second place. We bet this is the only time those twins will be beaten by the Lopez twins on any poll.

Although 2008 has been pretty tame when you consider these other terrible celebrity baby names:

Kal-El – who could forget the crash course in superman we all got when Nicholas Cage named his son after a comic book character. Way to go Nic.

Pilot Inspektor – Jason Lee’s child. WTF? no further commentary needed.

Apple – Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin what were you thinking? In this case Chris Martin it would have been ok to plagiarize someone else’s name.

Tu Morrow – Rob Morrow – the guy from Numbers. We thought names like eileen down and richard head were urban legends. Apparently not.

Kyd, David Duchovny and Tea Leoni. One step above Oi or You.

Sage Moonblood – Sylvester Stallone. Another in the WTF category.

Blanket – Michael Jackson. Actually given how screwed up Michael Jackson is, Blanket can probably count himself lucky.

Given how many celeb babies are coming in 2009, it should be fun to watch as they try to out do each other with the most ridiculous names possible.

Mags Pass on Ashlee and Pete’s Pics of Bronx

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are reportedly trying to shop around pictures of baby Bronx Mowgli to the gossip rags, but it turns out that nobody’s interested in buying. Word has it that the two don’t sell enough mags when they’re on the cover and “Pete and Ashlee have approached every single celebrity magazine with offers to sell their first photos, but nobody wants them.”

I wonder what their minimum offer would be? A rep denied the whole thing, but I’m intrigued.

Do you think these two really can’t land a cover spot with baby Bronx, or is the “celebrity insider” way off? There’s something about these two that screams “desperate!” to me.

Someone Will Get Fired At OK!

Page Six has reported that some unlucky son-of-a-gun will be getting axed at OK! after they destroyed Ashlee Simpson’s name on the mag cover announcing her new baby boy with Pete Wentz. Susan Toepfer was named the new Editor-in-Chief just a few weeks back, and now? Oh, the agony:

“[...] The glossy had its first big bungle. [OK!] somehow managed to misspell Ashlee Simpson’s name as “Ashley” – on the cover, no less. A rep for the magazine told Page Six, ‘It is highly embarrassing and, sadly, someone will probably be fired.’”

Imagine the finger pointing! I’m sure it was brutal. Of course, said “source” could just be lying to keep Papa Joe at bay. Any bets on whether or not someone will actually be asked to leave?

Ashlee is Pregnant

The worst-kept secret is finally out. After months of whispering, Ashlee Wentz (nee Simpson) has confirmed that she is pregnant after all. Ashlee, actually using her new last name for the first time, announced her pregnancy on FriendsorEnemies.com:

While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.

After her honeymoon pics were released, I had second-guessed that she was preggers. I’m still not quite sure how that belly seemed to disappear on her vacation. With all of the changes for this young couple, do you think Ashlee should have heeded a certain someone’s advice to newlyweds not to change their names anymore?

A new marriage, a new baby, and a new life– congrats to the Wentz fam, and good luck! You might need even more if you’re really planning that reality show.

Ashlee and Pete Lie!

Everyone went crazy with the scoop that Pete and Ashlee had decided to forgo a post-wedding trip to hide from the paps, but it turns out that the rumors were all wrong.

Pete had told Ryan Seacrest that they were going to hang out in their basement, eat DiGiorno pizza and periodically sun themselves in a tanning bed this week. I think that someone was trying to get sneaky after his wedding plans got totally outed. Pete’s attempt to strike back actually worked: he was photographed in the Caribbean at the end of this week enjoying a hot honeymoon. Congrats to them for at least keeping something secret. It wasn’t a total bust, then!

I think we can lay the baby rumors to rest now. Ashlee’s looking toned.

Ashlee and Pete Will Make a Killing on Wedding Pics

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married after all, and they’re going to be getting a big paycheck for their efforts, compliments of People. The mag released the statement that “We’re thrilled that celebrities continue to choose PEOPLE as the place to share their most intimate photos,” but refused to give us the dirt on the payout.

Lucky for us, a source has revealed that People will be spending over seven figures (that’s a million, people!) for the wedding snaps. Meanwhile, Papa Joe Simpson is off drooling about this amount somewhere, I’m sure.

Now if only I could get my hands on the person responsible for penning “most intimate photos.” With so many (rumored) sex tapes around, it doesn’t really conjur up the right image. Ew.

Ashlee and Pete’s Friends Are In Trouble.

Poor Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. . . it looks like their “secret” wedding cover has been totally blown, in the fashion of many stars before them. There were rumors trickling in at the end of last week, and now we’re looking at full-fledged probing headlines. How pissed are they?!

According to, erm, everyone, they’re getting hitched on Saturday in front of 120 guests in Los Angeles. Perhaps they never should have announced their engagement and kept things totally mum so that they could get married secretly. It’s all or nothing, and even Mariah knows how to pull this off.

I’m a little disappointed in their friends for spilling, but there’s another matter still at hand. *Cough* Shot-gun wedding, anyone? Ashlee is so pregnant.
