Every parents horror has come true for parents dropping their kids off at daycare centers (nurseries) in the U.K. today. A 39 year old daycare (nursery) worker at Little Teds nursery in Plymouth, Devon in the U.K. has been arrested for posession and distribution of indecent images of children.

Police have raided the home of the daycare worker and temporarily shut down the daycare while they collect evidence inside. Parents showing up at the nursery to drop their kids off are being handed a letter explaining what is happening and police are answering questions.

Understandably, parents are shocked that someone they trust to care for their children would be charged with such an offense.

Police have not released any details on whether the images in the woman’s posession were taken at the nursery or not, but their investigation continues.
