Poor Donald Noone, not only has he been arrested for one of the dumbest attempts at theft I’ve ever heard, it’s actually the second time he’s been arrested for the same stunt. The 65-year-old man was arrested this week after he attempted to shoplift a rack of ribs from a grocery story by shoving them down his pants.

The meat lover was arrested for the exact same crime in May 2011 according to the Sentinel. Although his crime was deserving of a punishment I have to give it up to him for attempting to up the ante, the ribs this time were worth $20.48, while his last take was worth just $13.34.

Here’s a non-shocker, police say during both attempts Noone was very intoxicated.

During one citation he literally fell off a sidewalk into traffic and eventually passed out on the front porch of a home in the middle of the day before arguing with a group of men at 2:20 in the morning.

The arrest is also the sixth for Noone in the last five months, all related to public drunkenness.

What type of punishment do you think would fit such an odd crime? I’m thinking mandatory alcoholics anonymous meetings and perhaps some community service cleaning up at a slaughter house.

Battery life for our various gadgets pretty well sucks and keeping an eye out for handy power outlets for a quick juice up is becoming a practiced art but you might want to be careful where you plug in that recharging cord because you could end up[ finding yourself under arrest.

This is what happened to 23-year-old homeless Shawn Fawster when he was found by Bangor police powering up a couple of cellphones using an outdoor outlet.

Police have brought charges against a homeless man in Maine who they say decided to charge a couple of cellphones in an outdoor electrical outlet.A Bangor police officer checking downtown businesses says he discovered 23-year-old Shaun Fawster charging his phones in an outlet hidden behind some flowers.

Fawster was charged last weekend with theft of services, but also with carrying a concealed weapon, after the officer claimed he found a folding knife tucked underneath the homeless man’s shirt.

According to Kanye the paps killed Kenny Princess Diana and his recent arrest was just a publicity stunt.

I AM PROTECTING MY PERSONAL SPACE SINCE THERE ARE NO LAWS TO PROTECT THAT FOR ME.

I PUT MY HAND UP TO THE CAMERA IN SELF DEFENSE!

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED…WHEN I LEFT THE CLUB, I WAS ENCOUNTERED BY A THIRSTY PAPARAZZI AS USUAL. HE FELT HE HAD MORE RIGHTS TO MY SPACE THAN ME, SO I PUT MY HAND UP TO PREVENT HIM FROM TAKING MY IMAGE. I DIDN’T ASSAULT HIM BUT MERELY PUTTING MY HAND UP TO COVER HIS LENS. MY SECURITY YELLED, “GET THE CAMERA OFF HIM.” I GUESS IN ALL THE COMMOTION THE CAMERA SCRAPED HIS NOSE.

THREE HOURS LATER I GET A KNOCK AT MY HOTEL DOOR. THERE WERE FIVE POLICE OFFICERS IN FRONT OF MY ROOM AND I HAD NO IDEA WHY. I HAD MY SECURITY GO SPEAK WITH THEM. THE COPS WERE VERY CORDIAL BUT TOLD ME THEY HAD TO ARREST ME BECAUSE A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THAT WAS THE BOGUS PART. THEY PLACED ME IN HANDCUFFS AND DROVE ME TO THE STATION. THEY SPOKE ABOUT HOW THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY A PUBLICITY STUNT BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER BUT THEY STILL HAD TO GO THOUGH THE MOTIONS. WHEN I GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL THERE WERE PAPARAZZI HANGING OVER THE BRIDGE ABOVE THE HOTEL TRYING TO GET A SHOT OF ME GETTING OUT THE POLICE VAN. EVEN THOUGH I WASN’T CHARGED, THE DAMAGE WAS DONE. SURE ENOUGH THE NEXT MORNING, PLASTERED ACROSS EVERY MEDIA OUTLET… KANYE GETS ARRESTED. IT DIDN’T MATTER THAT I WASN’T CHARGED OR THE FACT THAT I HADN’T ASSAULTED ANYONE. ALL THAT MATTERED WAS THAT I WAS ARRESTED.

SIDEBAR, THEY QUOTED ME AS SAYING…”GET THE CAMERA OFF HIM!” LIKE I WAS TALKING IN THIRD PERSON. HE TRIED TO MAKE ME SOUND LIKE A CRAZY PERSON AND PEOPLE BELIEVED HIM. WHAT MERIT DOES THIS GUY HAVE THAT HE CAN SAY SOMETHING ABOUT ME AND PEOPLE TAKE IT AS LAW? THE FACT THAT HE COULD GET ME ARRESTED OFF A MERE COMPLAINT BUT I CAN’T ASK HIM TO STOP TAKING PICTURES OF ME IS VERY LOPSIDED.

WHO’S WINNING, ME OR THE MEDIA?

I’ll have a go at answering that Kanye. Its the media, you are famous, when you want to sell albums you suck up to the media in order to flog your wares.  You trade on your image and the publicity in order to make money.  We say suck it up.

DMX is in jail. . . again. Sigh. It looks like he’s going to have lots of material for his reality show, because he’s currently in police custody in Phoenix after being extradited from Miami. He pled guilty just two weeks ago to attempted cocaine and marijuana possession, after which he was fined $483 and sentenced to time served, but things aren’t over yet. The state of Arizona reclaimed DMX for an outstanding warrant after he skipped a court date, and he’s currently facing $25,000 bail.

Surely he’s getting low on bail funds at this point?
