According to TMZ, Maria Shriver is reconsidering her divorce from the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Sources are saying that Shriver is citing her deep religious beliefs and that Arnold Schwarzenegger was working hard to win her back.  He has supposedly been buying her tons of gifts and has been very sweet to her and has told her repeatedly she wants him back.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife split after revelations that he had fathered a child with one of his domestic servants during the time he was married.

Shriver filed for divorce last year citing “irreconcilable differences”  She is seeking spousal support and attorney’s fees.  Analysts have estimated that the divorce could be one of the most expensive celebrity divorces in history.  Schwarzenegger is estimated to be worth about $500 million dollars.  His wife, under California law is entitles to half of that amount.

Now that his governor days are over, Arnold Schwarzenegger can get back to what he does best. Unveiling statues. Arnold Schwarzenegger unveiled a new bronze statue during the official inauguration of the Schwarzenegger Museum in Austria.

The Schwarzenegger Museum, which is in the village of Thal where Arnold grew up, includes several significant items from the body builder / actor / politician’s life. The LA Times reports that the museum includes Arnold’s first barbell, his wood governor’s desk, and life-size models of the Terminator characters.

Arnold said that he hopes the museum will provide young people with a model for success.

Actor Zack Gilford has signed on for a part in the Arnold Schwarzenegger comeback film The Last Stand about a small border town sheriff that stands in the way of a drug cartel that’s attempting to flee the United States into Mexico.

Zach the star of TV’s Friday Night Lights will star alongside the aging action star and the movie marks a departure from his normal TV fare which has included Friday Night Lights and Off The Map along with smaller film projects including Super and Grad.

Also playing the role of a bad guy in the film is Peter Stormare who recently signed on the dotted line.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was supposed to promote his new movie, Terminator 3, when he appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in 2003, but he ended up announcing that he was going to run for governor. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Schwarzenegger says that he acted on impulsively when he decided to run for governor.

Schwarzenegger told Michael Lewis of Vanity Fair:

“I just thought, this will freak everyone out. I’ll announce that I am running. I told Leno I was running. And two months later I was governor.”

According to ABC, the Governator didn’t make the decision to run for Governor until the drive over to Leno’s studio. His wife Maria Shriver didn’t know about his plans. He didn’t have a campaign staff. Schwarzenegger’s run for governor basically started as a joke.

Schwarzenegger said:

“I thought about it but decided I wasn’t going to do it. I told Maria I wasn’t running. I told everyone I wasn’t running. I didn’t have a plan. I didn’t have a staff. I wasn’t running until I went on Jay Leno.”

Schwarzenegger, who recently commissioned a bronze statue of himself in California, left office this year in January with an approval rating of 25%. But Schwarzenegger says that he had a great time in office.

Arnold said:

“You have to realize the thing was so much fun. We had a great time! There were times of frustration. There were times of disappointment. But if you want to live rather than just exist, you want the drama.”

ABC reports that 12% of Californians are currently unemployed, but hey, at least Arnold got to experience the drama…

Arnold Schwarzenegger loves himself so much that he has commissioned a bronze statue maker to build at least 3 8-foot tall statues that will feature Arnold’s peak physical form.

Speaking to the New York Daily News bronze statue maker Arnie says he could ultimately make up to seven of the statues.

Apparently Arnold will keep at least one of the statues for himself while sending the others off to other locations around the world.

The statues are based off a 22-inch sculpture that was created by an artist in 1980 and shows Schwarzenegger flexing his biceps during one of his seven Mr. Olympia titles.

The first statue has already shipped to Arnold’s hometown where an Schwarzenegger museum stands. The second statue is expected to head to the location of the annual Arnold Fitness Weekend.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, bodybuilder, actor, politician, and pointer, has penned a deal to write a memoir. Whatever you think of Ah-nuld – and let it be said here I am no great fan – the man has had a storied life that should ensure an entertaining read.

With crushing inevitability, the autobiography will be titled Total Recall, or Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story to give it its full title. It’s due out in October 2012, with Simon & Schuster manning the presses. The former California governor – haha, sorry, that still gets me – will document the end of his 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver.

The 64-year-old won’t dwell on Shriver, however: he also plans to share stories about his childhood in Austria, as well as his multiple careers in bodybuilding, movies, and politics.

Speaking to People, a Schwarzenegger spokesman said:

“He has been keeping notes and working on the book for over a year. He didn’t want to write his autobiography while he was governor.”

Schwarzenegger’s acting career has picked up again since he left politics. Indeed, he plans to write his memoir while shooting scenes for his next film, The Expendables 2, a movie with every knuckle-headed Hollywood action hero from the last 30 years.

For his book, Schwarzenegger will be working with writer Peter Petre, a man who has collaborated on big sellers by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. And obviously, publisher Simon & Schuster is excited. S & S’s Jonathan Karp wheezed:

“Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world. Nobody has a life story even close to his.”

Some were starting to question whether or not Arnold Schwarzenegger would be able to successfully return to Hollywood after he made an announcement earlier this year of a comeback. Apparently no one told Schwarzenegger, because he’s just secured his second film in under a few days.

According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Schwarzenegger is set to star in the indie flick Captivity. He’ll reportedly take on the role of an American real estate magnate who finds himself kidnapped and held for ransom. While Schwarzenegger’s character desperately attempts to escape from his cell, a detective specializing in kidnapping cases works to find him.

The script was penned by Benjamin van der Veen and Kario Salem based on a story from Nicolai Fuglsig. Fulgsig was originally pegged as the director for the film, but he opted to go with an executive producer position alongside Eva Maria Daniels instead.

The news comes just a few days after the announcement that Schwarzenegger will take on a “substantial” role in the upcoming sequel to The Expendables, due out August 2012. Bruce Willis was also confirmed as the main villain for The Expendables 2.

In addition to Captivity and The Expendables 2, Schwarzenegger is also set to star in The Last Stand, Korean director Kim Jee-Woon’s English-language debut. In The Last Stand, Schwarzenegger plays an aging sheriff struggling to protect his town’s borders from drug runners.

Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger may be getting a divorce after the 55-year-old Shriver filed in county court earlier this month, but that didn’t stop them from getting together to celebrate the former Governor’s 64th birthday this weekend.

The couple were spotted eating with family at Beverly Hills restaurant Casa Roma before heading out for a day of shopping.

A source close to the family tells PEOPLE:



”Children and family come first.”

While another source added:

“Arnold and Maria will always come together when it comes to supporting and loving their children.”

The family get together occurs only a little bit of time after son Christopher was released from the hospital on Monday after suffering from several broken bones and a collapsed lung caused by a boogie boarding accident.

Brigitte Nielsen- who was kind of famous for a while in the 80′s and has, in recent years, mainly been notable for reality show train-wreckiness- is coming out with a book, “You Only Get One Life.” And while she really could have gotten on this publicity train a bit earlier, the actress has disclosed that while filming “Red Sonja,” she and Arnold Schwarzenegger had a totally hot 80′s affair.

Nielsen dished:

‘How serious it was with her, I don’t know,’ says Nielsen. ‘He never spoke about her — and the way he was living his life with me, I felt I was the only one. Then I realised about him and Maria and, wow, I felt cheated. Maybe I wouldn’t have got into it if he said “I’m going to marry Maria and this is dead serious”, but he didn’t, and our affair carried on.’

Did he ever ask Nielsen to marry him? ‘Absolutely not’, she laughs. ‘If he had, he wouldn’t have become Governor of California.’

The former model also hints at his political aspirations at the time:

‘Arnold at the time was a lot of fun,’ she recalls. ‘He was very  professional and had a very sarcastic sense of humour. He told me at the beginning of shooting Red Sonja, “One day, I will become Governor of California”, and we were all laughing, but I had a feeling he would do it one day.’

Nielsen expressed sadness at news of Schwarzenegger’s apparently prolific seed:

‘There’s more? It breaks my heart because he and Maria have four kids and you don’t just have a baby with someone else. I’m surprised Arnold thought he could get away with it and I feel bad for Maria.’

It appears that Arnold Schwarzenegger may be in for the Tiger Woods treatment with the media, as one revealed affair is leading to revelation of scads of torrid trysts over the past few decades he’s been married to Maria Shriver.

Chronic infidelity seems to almost have a domino affect for stars like Schwarzenegger and Woods, with many former mistresses stepping up to claim paydays and moments in the spotlight when mistress zero speaks up. After it came to light that the former Governator had a 14-year-old son with the family’s former housekeeper, fellow Schwarzenegger mistress Gigi Goyette stepped forward to spill her secrets.

Goyette appeared on TV’s Extra last night, exposing embarrassing details of her long-term affair with the movie-star-turned politician. Goyette gushed about meeting Schwarzenegger when she was 16 and he was 27, and later reconnecting with him for sex a decade later- after his marriage. She says:

“He has this overpowering way with women that you get weak.” Gigi also reveals that because of his smooth ways she felt comfortable with him, revealing, “It’s pretty much the first time I had sex with anybody in my life.”

(Anyone else wondering how you can “pretty much” be a virgin?) Goyette recounts clandestine meetings with Arnie while Maria and the kids stayed in the same hotel, but says she was shocked- shocked!- to find another other woman in his bed, so she stopped the affair. She also offered her condolences to Shriver after cashing out on the woman’s pain:

“I am very sorry for the mistakes I made in the past and for being intimate with your husband, and I would hope that you would forgive me for that.”

Reps for Schwarzenegger did not comment on the allegations.

With her marriage to cheating husband Arnold Schwarzenegger coming to an end Maria Shriver has began shopping for a pricey L.A. Condo, in fact according to various sources the hunt for a new home began for Shriver in January.

If that January date is in fact correct it means Shriver was more than likely told about the affair immediately after Arnold left public office.

TMZ has learned that Maria looked at a condo at The Carlyle on Wilshire the same complex that plays home to Bruce Willis, Sofia Vergara, Paul Anka and others. Sources say she didn’t like the $10 million- $14 million units and moved on to some 3-bedroom condos prices in the $4 million – $7 million range.

Ultimately Shriver decided the building was full of too many paparazzi prone stars and moved on to other undisclosed digs.

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has put his career back on hold as news that he fathered a child with his housekeeper mistress has surfaced.

According to the actors team at CAA he has stopped all film negotiations for the time being with no immediate plans to return to the big screen.

In the statement his reps state:

“Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines.”

Turning down all roles means the Governator will not be seen in the upcoming movie Cry Macho at this time, a production that was prepared to pay the former blockbuster star a cool $12.5 million to appear in his first full length role since being sworn in as the Governor of California.

News has broken that Arnold Schwarzenneger had a lovechild with a household helper nearly 10 years ago. The former California Governor, 63, is about to divorce wife of 25 years Maria Shriver.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times Arnold noted:

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” while adding “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

During their breakup the couple released a statement which did not point at Arnold’s infidelity, stating:

“This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship. We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the centre of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public.”

Apparently the helper stayed on the families staff and retired this January after 20 years of service, however that helper has not been named.

For his part Schwarzenneger has always supported the child and mother, while according to reports he continues to support them to this very day.

Arnold is returning to acting, planning to take part in Terminator 5 and other projects in the coming months and years.

News of former California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife of nearly three decades Maria Shriver parting ways came as a surprise to many.

Even more shocking is today’s admission by Schwarzenegger that he fathered a child with a staff member “more than a decade ago.” Shriver moved out of the couple’s mansion, according to the Los Angeles Times, after she learned of the infidelity. Schwarzenegger lays it all out in a statement he released today, which explained:

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Schwarzenegger said Monday night in a statement issued to The Times in response to questions. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time,” the statement concluded. “While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not. “

The staffer is known to the Los Angeles Times, and in an interview earlier this month, originally claimed that her husband at the time of the child’s birth was his or her father. She has since declined to comment, and the LAT has not identified her. The unnamed staffer told the paper:

…she voluntarily left her position with the couple earlier this year after reaching a longstanding goal of working for them for two decades. “I wanted to achieve my 20 years, then I asked to retire,” she said, adding she received a severance payment and “left on good terms with them.”

Probably the best possible terms you can leave on when you have a baby with someone else’s husband, anyway.

The couple have released a statement addressing the separation, requesting privacy from press:

Arnold Schwarzenegger is ready to get back into the world of big-budget Hollywood movies and while he will eventually star in Terminator 5 once a studio picks up the rights to the movie series, he may soon star in a more “pulpy” movie.

The former California Governor is rumored to be preparing for a role in Cry Macho a movie based on the N. Richard Nash 1975 novel of the same name about a horse trainer who starts kidnapping to make money after his business fails.

The former California governor has agreed to take the movies leading role, a role that will be directed by Fast Five’s Justin Lin.

The movie is also still lacking a studio to help pay for the project, however with Arnold’s “coveted” first movie return as part of the project we’re pretty sure a script and studio will materialize in no time at all.

The Governator said that after his 7 year seat as California Governor ran its course he would be returning to the big screen and now he is already in talks to star in the movie The Last Stand.

PopEater reports that the movie is:

A crime thriller that is based around a fugitive drug lord and a small town sheriff (Schwarzenegger) who will attempt to bring him to justice.

The former Governor is said to be “far from signing on the dotted line” as negotiations have not reached the final stage.

The last role the Governor took was a small walk on cameo in 2010′s The Expendables. Before that his last big role was in 2003′s Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

If Lions Gate can closes the deal it could be big for the studio as the actors first post governor role is expected to draw huge hype and with it huge crowds.
