Since Pitt announced his relationship with Jolie in 2005 and ended his five-year marriage to Aniston, the gutter press has peddled the idea that Pitt and Aniston can’t stand one another – despite both actors denying this time and time again.

This latest denial from Aniston is, sadly, unlikely to have much effect on the media myth machine, but I give her ten points for trying:

“The triangle with my ex-husband, and that there’s a feud there, it’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing – (people make money from) a story that has nothing to do with reality.”

A fact often ignored by the hacks who write about Aniston is that she’s been in a long-term relationship with actor/screenwriter Justin Theroux – indeed, it looks like marriage may not be far away.

Earlier, Vanessa Paradis denied reports of a breakup with Johnny Depp, saying:

“Yes, it’s false. Of course it’s false…. These rumors are the content of those magazines that end up in the fireplace or in the toilets and that’s it.”

After slightly over six years together, seven children, separation rumors, and enough media scrutiny in print to fill the Library of Congress, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might just be finally ready to tie the knot, according to Pitt.

Though Brangelina have spent much of their time together denying rumors of marriage, putting the date off nebulously into the somewhere-time when homosexual couples are allowed marital union, Pitt opened up in an interview with Hollywood Reporter, admitting, among other things, that marriage between the two may finally be a possibility.

“We’d actually like to” get married, says Pitt, “and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it ’til everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”

In 2008, the couple announced the birth of #6 and #7, twins, in the Brangelina caravan. Though they haven’t had any children since twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, Pitt admits the two might not be done having children just yet – though they may go back to the adoption route.

“We haven’t closed the book on it,” he says. “There’s a really nice balance in the house right now, but if we see the need and get that lightning bolt that says, ‘We can help this person; we could do something here,’ then absolutely.”

Once again, Pitt distanced himself from his life int he 90′s.

“I got really sick of myself,” he says. “I was hiding out from the celebrity thing; I was smoking way too much dope; I was sitting on the couch and just turning into a doughnut; and I really got irritated with myself.”

It’s hard to imagine Pitt shopping for bargains on eBay. However, Angelina Jolie has the bragging rights, having won the Stanley Kramer Award for her directorial debut, “In the Land of Blood and Honey”. Brad Pitt, on the other hand, has produced many a film, including his most recent hit “Moneyball”. On the difference between directing and producing, Jolie said:

“I had to direct, I think it’s different. I think he’d execute properly if he was the director. But I do like to think of myself as decisive, so I’ll take that.”

Discussing the motivation of directing a film about the Bosnian War, Angelina Jolie said that it wasn’t her intention “to make a political statement against anybody. It was simply to say, ‘We must talk about what happened, we must try to learn from what happened, we must try to see humanity on all sides,’ and if we can, then we can start to move forward.”

There’s a new rumor floating around about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The power couple are adding another member to their family as Angelina is reportedly three months pregnant.

According to OK Magazine, the news is no longer a rumor but absolute truth. A source told OK!:

“She’s almost three months along. It’s not something she wants to officially announce but she’s at a point where she is telling a select group of people.”

Angelina is delighted about the pregnancy but the source says that she could do without the morning sickness. The source said:

“Angelina is really savouring every moment. She’s having a tough time with morning sickness but says its all worth it.”

The Telegraph reports that Pitt and Jolie are already biological parents to three children, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. Brad and Angelina have also adopted three children,  Maddox, Pax and Zahara.

During Jolie’s last pregnancy, she said:

“I love being pregnant. You feel like more like a woman than you’ve ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby.”

Pitt and Jolie have reportedly built a new nursery for their child. The all-white room will have a zen-like feeling “because (Jolie) believes in the mind-body connection and wants her mind at peace,” the source said.

Perhaps better known in recent years for her large brood and relationship with fellow A-lister Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is set to make a splash as her new film In the Land of Blood and Honey opens to wider audiences in the United States.

With the film, Jolie took on writing and directorial responsibilities- but the actress says it’s not a vanity project and that she just wanted to make the film, assuming the roles because there was no one else to do so. In the Land of Blood and Honey is by no means light fare- the film covers wartime conflict in the early 90′s in Bosnia, and the stunning violence that occurred during that time. Jolie acknowledges as much, saying that her intent with much of the film was to inspire the same discomfort she felt when seeing the effects of unrest firsthand:

“The crux of the story was my frustration with lack of intervention… I spent so much time with people in post-conflict situations where I wish I could just turn back the clock, before they were so scarred, and before so many losses…. if you’re watching the film, you’re thinking, ‘Can somebody please stop this? It’s getting worse, I want to get out of this theater, I just want to get out of here!’”

Of exploring different roles on set, Jolie told fans during a web chat Thursday night that the transition was far from seamless. She spoke of having a bit of a crisis of confidence and seeking comfort from Pitt as she struggled to bring the story to the silver screen:

“I had a complete emotional breakdown in the shower and Brad found me crying. I felt this huge responsibility and I felt very small. I thought, ‘Who am I to take this on?’…I had a complete meltdown.”

In the Land of Blood and Honey is up for a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film this Sunday.

Angelina Jolie just bought Brad Pitt a waterfall as a 48th birthday and Christmas present. As you do.

Brad’s new water feature is located in California, and will soon take center-stage in a new home Pitt is planning to build. The actor hopes to construct a house over the waterfall that is inspired by his favorite architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. A source told the Daily Mail:

“Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house. He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept. Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect. This is the present to top all presents.”

Specifically, Pitt wants to emulate Frank Lloyd Wright’s ‘Fallingwater’ home, as seen below in all its envy-inducing glory. This was completed in 1939 in Pennsylvania:

Not too shabby, eh? Apparently Pitt and the 36-year-old Jolie are seeking a private spot where they can hole up with their six children, away from intruding paparazzi lenses. Jolie and Pitt first visited Lloyd Wright’s iconic house in 2006.

Fortunately for the Hollywood couple, who must be struggling to make ends meet, they recently sold their humble Malibu mansion to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

She also predicted her kids would settle in many different countries, telling Cooper her old age with Pitt would be spent, “traveling around the world to try to visit our children in random countries.”

As their brood continues to grow the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have begun to ask mom and dad why they haven’t gotten married.

In an interview with Nightline the 36-year-old Jolie reveals:

“They have asked, yeah, because … people get married in the movies,” adding ”Shrek and Fiona are married, you know?”

Jolie for her part says she has been teaching her children that you don’t have to be married to be in a loving committed relationship. In the interview she says:

“We’ve explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have,” she says. “Once you have six children, you’re committed.”

Jolie says she jokes with her kids about marriage, recently asking them if they just wanted her to get married so they could eat a big cake at the wedding reception.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt appear to have a regular relationship, at least by Hollywood standards and there are rumors circulating that another child is on the way for the happy couple, that should be enough commitment for anyone.

Angelina Jolie recently said she was nervous about her directorial debut with In the Land of Blood and Honey, but now it looks like she may have even more reason to be nervous.

The actress-turned-director is reportedly being sued for allegedly stealing the story for her upcoming film. Croatian journalist and author James J. Braddock claims that the story for Jolie’s film wasn’t penned by her at all – according to him, the story for his 2007 book The Soul Shattering was stolen by the actress and used to write In the Land of Blood and Honey.

In the Land of Blood and Honey is a fictional tale, set during the Bosnian War, of a Bosnian woman who is raped by her Serbian captors, and then falls in love with her attacker. According to legal documents obtained by Radar, the plot sounds suspiciously similar to Braddock’s The Soul Shattering.

“The Subject Work’s main female character is subject to continuous abuse and rape by soldiers and officers in the camp. In addition to being raped continuously by soldiers and officers, she is forced to become a servant at the camp headquarters, a duty assumed by very few of the captives,” the legal document reads, according to Radar Online. “The Motion Picture’s main female character is also subject to continuous rape by soldiers and officers in the camp and subsequently becomes a servant at camp headquarters.”

In addition to going after Jolie, Braddock also named GK Films, the production company which financed In the Land of Blood and Honey, among other entities. Braddock expects a jury trial and compensation for damages.

Angelina Jolie has admitted that she’s “nervous” about her forthcoming directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey, which opens December 23.

Jolie’s nerves are perhaps understandable. Rather than take on a light-hearted teen comedy, the actress is tackling a controversial subject: the Serb-Bosnian conflict of the 1990s. The film, which is penned and directed by Jolie, is set in the Bosnian war, and features a Bosnian rape victim falling in love with her Serbian attacker, a prison commander.

Jolie’s primary concern is that audiences will misunderstand her work:

“I think people that really know me weren’t surprised, but I think they all thought it was a bit crazy … I still think it’s crazy. I think I’d be terrible with a comedy. I’m nervous that people are going to not understand it.”

She’s already have a rough reception to the film from one quarter: the Bosnian government briefly withheld Jolie’s right to film in the country after hearing of the movie. But ultimately. Jolie is proud of the film’s supposed authenticity, stating her wholly Yugoslav cast chipped in with advice:

“We all spoke about every speech, every scene and made sure that it was right and true. Everybody helped to educate me and we all adjusted the script together.”

Yet despite her worries, directing has proven rewarding to the 36-year-old actress:

“I prefer directing. I loved having the spotlight on somebody else. It’s nice for [her looks] not to matter. I think what’s risky is living your life and never trying for anything and never doing something brave.”

Angelina Jolie has been reflecting on ‘dark times’ in her life, admitting that she regards herself as lucky to be alive.

In an interview with 60 Minutes that airs Sunday, the 36-year-old admits she wasn’t always the landmine-busting, child-rescuing, goody-two-shoes foster mother to the universe that she’s portrayed as nowadays.

There was a time, lest we forget, when she’d wear her husband Billy Bob Thornton’s blood round her neck in a vial, and kiss her own brother in a slightly too intimate manner at the 2000 Academy Awards. Freaky those things might be, but they don’t kill you, right?

“I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them. I didn’t die young. So I am very lucky. There are other artists and people that didn’t survive certain things.”

What could Angelina be talking about? (Yeah, I expect I know as well, but we can’t afford lawyers in the same league as Angelina Jolie’s lawyers, so I’ll just leave that question hanging). When asked to elaborate on the ‘certain things’ part of her sentence, the actress simply shot back with:

“I was hoping you missed that. Nothing I want to go into a lot detail about, but I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst and admit, for many reasons, I shouldn’t be here. You just think there were too many times where you came too close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too, too far.”

Yet she also admitted that her dark side hasn’t disappeared entirely:

“I’m still a bad girl. I still have that side of me. It’s just in its place now. It belongs to Brad. To our adventures.”

Bosnia’s Association of Women Victims of War organisation wrote to the United Nations to demand Jolie be stripped of her UN goodwill ambassador status.

In addition to directing the film, Jolie also penned movie’s script, which tells the love story between a Serbian man and a Bosnian-Muslim woman who are forced apart in the 1992 Bosnian conflicts.

Reuters reports that the nature of the film’s plot was so volatile a Bosnian women’s group campaigned against it, claiming that it would portray a Bosnian rape victim falling in love with her Serbian rapist.

Following the protests, which happened a year ago, Bosnian officials briefly suspended the film’s permit in October but later reversed course after Jolie asked people to withhold judgment until the movie was finished and they could see the final version.

“The film is about the experience that a lot of people, on all different sides, have as war takes its toll . . . a couple that maybe would have lived a certain life, had the war not begun, end up having a very different story because of the war,” Jolie told Entertainment Weekly back in May.

Although In the Land of Blood and Honey is technically the first feature film Jolie has directed, it isn’t her first time behind the camera.

In 2007, the 36-year-old Salt star directed the documentary “A Place in Time,” an experimental project that captures three minutes across the world, edited to a 70-minute story that features fellow celebrities like Anne Hathaway, Djimon Hounsou and Olivier Martinez.

Angelina Jolie will be taking on a new role with the UN. The United Nations announced today that Jolie has been named Special Representative on the Afghan refugee situation.

Jolie, who has served as the goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees for the last ten years, will work to resolve the fate of 2.7 million Afghan refugees in Pakistan and Iran.

Jolie didn’t give any specifics to reporters, but the Oscar Nominated actress did say that she will be ”looking at a few countries in the world.”

Jolie said:

“We’re hoping to discuss it in the next few weeks but we want to research it properly and do it well.”

Antonio Guterres, U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, said that Jolie would be “our special envoy mainly for the most dramatic refugee situations that require a lot of advocacy.”

After a meeting of UNHCR’s Executive Committee in Geneva, Jolie told reporters about her experiences working with the UN over the last decade.

Jolie said:

“My personal experiences with UNHCR have been moving, sometimes heartbreaking, but always rewarding and unforgettable… ”After decades of displacement and many years of war, we are entering a defining moment for Afghanistan.”

The UNHRC reports that there are still 1.7 million Afghanistan refugees in Pakistan and 1 million in Iran.

According to Jolie, however, it’s all hype, as the 36-year-old “Salt” star recently sat down with Vanity Fair magazine to talk all things “Brangelina.”

“I’m not pregnant. I’m not adopting at the moment,” Jolie declares in the forthcoming issue of the well known pop-culture/fashion magazine, also adding that there are no plans for a “secret wedding.”

Instead of adding to their already large family of six, the Oscar-winning actress explained she is taking time to focus on her film career, which includes her making a directorial debut with the controversial wartime romance film, “In the Land of Blood and Honey.”

The upcoming film’s story follows a couple’s love affair during the Bosnian war, and Jolie made sure to get the script as accurate as possible by sending it to reporters and writers of Serbian and Bosnian nationalities who had experienced the war.

“I was gauging the accuracy…If they said no, I wouldn’t have done it,” she said.

While Jolie is seen as confident on screen, she told Vanity Fair that being behind the camera, directing, was a whole new ball of wax.

“I’ve never felt more exposed. My whole career, I’ve hidden behind other people’s words,” Angelia revealed. “Now it’s me talking. You feel ridiculous when you get something wrong.”

Angelina Jolie showed off a new tattoo when traveling this week for another U.N. goodwill  trip, this time to Tunisia-Libya. The tattoo features map coordinates that match those of her other six children, sparking rumors that she and Brad Pitt may be getting ready to add another child to their brood.

At this time it’s still unclear what coordinates are actually on Jolie’s tattoo, however various sites are speculating that they correspond to the North African region Jolie is currently visiting.

A source close to Jolie says the rumors are false, however they offered no secondary reason for the new map coordinated ink.

I’m perversely looking forward to Kardashian’s attempts at deploying a cut-glass English accent.

The next Tomb Raider movie will reportedly represent a “reboot” for the franchise, with the next film featuring “a far more comic strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3D and aimed at a teen audience.”

Kardashian is supposedly taking acting classes in case she is the next Lara, which is a bit like taking fine art lessons in preparation for finger-painting, but hell, it’s her money.
