Lindsay Lohan skirted quesionts about the shocking revelation that she has a secret half-sister on Good Morning America on Friday. Michael Lohan recently underwent a DNA test which reportedly proved that he fathered a daughter out of wedlock with a former mistress. The baby is now 17-years-old, according to Radar Online.

When Good Morning America’s Amy Robach asked about the recently revealed half-sister, the actress replied, “I didn’t even hear that, thanks for the news.” Lohan was on GMA to discuss her upcoming Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick. After sharing her rave review of the movie, Robach tossed some soft questions at Lindsay concerning the space her family frequently takes up in news headlines.

When asked if she thought her life would have turned out differently without the constant scrutiny which accompanies fame, LiLo had this to say:

“Um … I mean obviously yes, to a certain extent, but um, I think that everyone goes through things in life, and I like to learn from my mistakes, obviously, but I wouldn’t be who I am today if I hadn’t gone through certain things, everything happens for a reason, good or bad, so you can just take what you’ve learned from it and move forward.”

Lindsay Lohan’s decision to be a guest on Good Morning America came just days after she cancelled a more serious interview segment with Barbara Walters. After bowing out of the Walters’ interview Lohan opted to grace the couch on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. LiLo is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno next on Tuesday.

Amy Robach gave a tearful goodbye on the Saturday edition of NBC’s “Weekend Today,” in lieu of her contract ending, and signing a new one with ABC News.

The announcement of her new job was made through a press release by ABC News president Ben Sherwood. Robach, who has been the co-anchor of the Saturday edition of the “Weekend Today” show since 2007, told her co-workers and viewers that:

“I want to thank everybody. I could not name everyone in the studio right now who has made every Saturday morning, when that alarm clock goes off, worth getting up for.”

According to ABC News, the note from Sherwood was sent on Monday morning to all staff members, and stated:

“I am pleased to announce that Amy Robach is joining ABC News as a correspondent based in New York…Amy comes to us from NBC News where she has served as a national correspondent and weekend anchor for Today. She also spent several years anchoring morning news programming on MSNBC.”

TVNewser reports that Sherwood went on to describe Amy as:

“A first-rate storyteller and broadcaster, Amy will go to any heights for her work, including riding along in a Navy F-18 Super Hornet over the Atlantic…As the mother of two daughters and three step sons, she will tell you that her family is one step away from becoming a modern day Brady Bunch.”

In describing Amy Robach’s new role, Ben Sherwood also wrote:

“In her new role, Amy will contribute her engaging and  high-impact journalism to all of our broadcasts and platforms…Please joining me in welcoming her to the ABC News family.”

Amy Robach was with NBC News for more than nine years.

Startup founder and former actor Andrew Shue and the Today show’s Amy Robach are engaged according to reports.

People Magazine notes that Shue and Robach are both recently divorced. Shue was previously married floral designer Jennifer Hageney, and Robach was married to Tim McIntosh.

The couple started dating in the northern spring, and the first spotted together in public in April 2009.

Andrew Shue is best known for his role as Billy Campbell on the original Melrose Place. In recent years, he’s run a charity and is also the co-founder of social networking startup CafeMom.
