A-Rod, romantically linked to Madonna, Kate Hudson, and Cameron Diaz in the past, has recently been seen with 36-year-old former WWE star Torrie Wilson.

TV news anchor Mike Murad told the Idaho Statesman that he was at Axiom Fitness in Boise, ID, when the top-paid player in Major League Baseball walked in with Wilson, a retired World Wrestling Entertainment star.

Murad said he asked if he could take a photo, but A-Rod declined, saying, “I’m trying to keep a low profile.” He said Rodriguez and Wilson didn’t workout together, but left the together in a pickup truck.

The Statesman added that multiple Boiseans also tweeted seeing A-Rod at a local bar Monday.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, this isn’t the first time the two gym rats have been seen together. Right before Christmas, the Rodriguez and Wilson were spotted in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, vacationing with actor George Clooney and his girlfriend Stacey Kiebler, also an ex-World Wrestling Entertainment star and Wilson’s friend.

While yet to publicly confirmed her ties to Rodriguez, Wilson tweeted from Boise Christmas Day, writing, “Feeling so very grateful for the many blessings in my life.”

As for A-Rod, the 36-year-old slugger is preparing for his ninth season in pinstripes, and aside from dating, he is also looking to improve on one of the worst seasons in his career last year, in which he batted .276 with 16 home runs and 62 RBIs in 99 games.

Cameron Diaz and Yankee’ star slugger Alex Rodriguez have called it quits. According to a source close to the on again off again couple they broke up because both agree that their careers come first at this point in their lives.

Speaking to the New York Post one source close to A-Rod said:

 “For weeks he’s been trying to get out of the relationship.” they say he’s been telling people it’s over but “she has been in denial about it.”

That same source tells the paper:

“They have broken up before and got back together, and who knows if it may happen again. But I get the sense that it won’t. He was losing interest and is ready to move on.”

They say that the couple has had a great time together over the last two years and the breakup is extremely recent, which would make sense since Diaz was seen with Alex just this past Labor Day weekend when she flew to New York City to have dinner with him.

According to the received information the now ex-couple plan to remain friends and the breakup was 100% amicable between the two. The snoop says with the injuries he has sustained over his career he simply wants to stay focused and healthy so he can win another world championship.

The breakup rumor has not yet been confirmed by the A-Rod or Cameron Diaz camps so we’ll file this one under “rumor” for the time being.

Alex Rodriguez’s involvement in a high stakes poker game at a private Beverly Hills mansion may end up costing the star Yankee at least two regular season games.

The game allegedly happened at the home of a record producer where open cocaine use was encouraged and violence was threatened when one player lost “more than a half-million dollars” according to an inside source.

A league spokesman told ESPN:

“We’re taking this very seriously,” and “Because he had been warned about this before, I would say a possible suspension would be very much in play.”

Another spokesman added to USA Today that the star player will be summoned for an interview.

The original report by The Star said people in attendance included Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck, all regulars to the underground poker circuit.

In 2005 Major League Baseball officials told Alex Rodriguez to stay away from illegal high-stakes poker games after he was caught playing with Ben Affleck, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Tobey Maguire and other A-Listers on the Hollywood scene and now it looks like he might be in trouble for ignoring that warning.

According to Star Magazine the All-Star baseball player was playing in illegal high-stakes games as early as two months ago, buying into one game for $40,000.

For their part MLB officials claim to have no knowledge of the game with public relations representative Patrick Courtney telling RadarOnline.com that “this is the first we have heard about this and we will look into it.”

News of Rodriguez’s involvement began to surface when Hedge fund trustee Brad Ruder was incarcerated for running a Ponzi scheme and players of his high stakes games were named, notably Tobey Maguire who is said to have won $300,000 in those games and is now being sued to return that money in order to pay off Ruderman’s debts.

According to a source speaking with The Star:

“Initially, A-Rod came to the game and simply watched…But once he knew what it was all about, he bought into the game.”

When ESPN New York asked Rodriguez about the game he said:

“I’m not really going to get into any of that right now,” he said. “We’re going to focus on good little baseball here against a great team. … Any basketball questions? Any boxing questions?”

It will be interesting to see how far MLB’s front office will go with their investigation.

Former Madam Kristen Davis, best known for organizing hookers for former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer has been named as both a supplier and former lover of disgraced New York Yankee’s player Alex Rodreiguez.

According to the NY Daily News, the relationship started with the supply of hookers, then turned into something more personal. Davis is said to have found A-Rod “so charming she “dated him herself for free.” A-Rod apparently wanted more, and showered Davis “with flowers, jewelry, persistence and heated e-mails.”

The newspaper confirmed the story with Davis, who said that “all I can say is our paths have definitely crossed personally and professionally.”

Notably, A-Rod was married at the time. You can now add hookers to A-Rod’s list of vices next to steroids.

Things keep going from bad to worse for New York Yankee’s drug cheat Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez.

A-Rod fronted the media at a press conference earlier today and admitted to having used Ripped Fuel, a nutritional supplement later banned by MLB.

Ripped Fuel contained the herb ephedra, which as well as allegedly being a performance enhancing substance, wasn’t without serious risk, being blamed for heart failure to kidney and liver disease. Ephedra was thought to be a cause of the death of major league pitcher Steve Bechler during the 2003 spring training season.

A-Rod also spoke more on his steroid abuse, claiming among other things:

“I didn’t think they were steroids. That, again, is part of being young and stupid. It was over the counter, it was pretty basic. It was really amateur hour. It was two guys doing a very amateur and immature thing. We probably didn’t even take it right.”

That his cousin injected him

Rodriguez said he was injected with the steroid by his cousin twice a month, though later he said it wasn’t always twice month, but that was the average of usage over the three-year period.

“I’m not sure what the benefit was [of taking it],” Rodriguez said. He said using was “half physical and half mental.” But Rodriguez, while saying he did feel more energy, wouldn’t actually measure the full benefit of the steroid. He said, “it was hard to say.”

A-Rod also denied ever using human growth hormone or amphetamines….so that makes things better

Although he’s a disgrace to sport, I’ll credit him on one thing: he has at least come forward to discuss the issue, and maybe, just maybe his downfall might be a lesson to kiddies and others tempted to take steroids as well.

Alex Rodriguez has admitted that he used steroids, telling ESPN that he used the performance-enhancing drugs from 2001-03 while at Texas.

“When I arrived in Texas in 2001, I felt an enormous amount of pressure. I felt like I had all the weight of the world on top of me and I needed to perform, and perform at a high level every day” said Rodriguez.

“And I did take a banned substance and, you know, for that I’m very sorry and deeply regretful. And although it was the culture back then and Major League Baseball overall was very — I just feel that — you know, I’m just sorry. I’m sorry for that time. I’m sorry to fans. I’m sorry for my fans in Texas. It wasn’t until then that I ever thought about substance of any kind, and since then I’ve proved to myself and to everyone that I don’t need any of that.”

“Back then it was a different culture. It was very loose. I was young. I was stupid,” Rodriguez said. “I was naive, and I wanted to prove to everyone that, you know, I was worth, you know — and being one of the greatest players of all time.”

Rodriguez will be remembered…as one of the biggest drug cheats of all time.

The confession follows Rodriguez being named by Sports Illustrated as a drug cheat February 7.

New York Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez tested positive to steroids in 2003, according to a report from Sports Illustrated.

Rodriguez, perhaps the most successful player in the history of baseball, holding a range of records including most home runs, refused to answer questions about the allegation.

SI claims that Rodriguez is on a list of positive results obtained in 2003 under an agreement that no results or player names would be released as part of an assessment into how widespread steroids were in the sport.

If at least 5% of the tests were positive, however, baseball would institute random testing, with players testing positive publicly identified and suspended. Of 1,198 players tested, 104 came back positive.

The list of names is subject to a court battle, after the US government seized the test results as part of the BALCO investigation.
