2K Games, apparently just now aware that this holiday season is jam-packed with all manner of heavy hitters, has decided to delay The Darkness II, originally due out in October, until February 7 in North America, February 10 in Europe.

On a brighter note, 2K revealed that The Darkness II will be playable at eight demo kiosks located at the Top Cow booth (#2629) during San Diego Comic Con later this week. Additionally, 2K will be holding a The Darkness II panel on Thursday, July 21 from 12 to 1 p.m.

The Darkness II will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC when it ships February 2012.

At this year’s E3, lucky journalists in attendance got to take an E3 build of BioShock Infinite for a spin which was, by all accounts, positively mind-blowing. If you weren’t one of those lucky attendees, Irrational Games has kindly uploaded the entire thing in video form over on YouTube.
