America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13 has been run and won and we have know who the winner is. If you don’t want to know though, stop reading past this point.

The winner of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13 is Nicole Fox, who also becomes the first AMNT petite model to claim the title.

Nicole beat Laura Kirkpatrick on the AMNT finale after coming out ahead in a CoverGirl commercial and then sealing it on the final runway. Laura, who as the show detailed suffers from dyslexia, was more fancied by the judges on the runway, but froze when asked to say something emotional about the experience.

As the America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13 winner, Nicole wins a Seventeen magazine cover shoot and six-page spread, a spot at Wilhelmina Models and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics.

The casting call for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 14 was completed in September, with the new series set to show next year.

We covered on Tuesday the horrific Oprah chimp victim story that has made international headlines, and not finally for those who missed it, the video of the segment has appeared online.

For those who missed the story, Charla Nash went to help a friend retrieve a set of keys from a chimpanzee who didn’t appreciate the attention. The chimpanzee named Travis ripped off Nash’s eyes, lips, nose, various parts of her scalp and parts of her jawbone.

Nash tells Oprah the pain she has suffered, and shows her face on television, to which I’ll repeat what I said Tuesday: holy mother of god.

Brooke Hundley on GMA: “I just wanted someone to get upset enough”

The crazy intern that stalked Steve Phillips, Brooke Hundley, tearfully defended her actions and showed an alarming level of denial in a Good Morning America interview.

Hundley denied stalking Phillips, a claim easily refuted by reading her scary letter to Marni Phillips or listening to the 911 call reporting her erratic visit wherein she crashed into a pole at the Phillips’ home. Saying she hoped Phillips would “grow up,” Hundley defends her actions, describing the relationship as abusive and her motives in terrorizing the Phillips family as rooted in a desire to save other women from similar upset and distress.

Despite being the driving force behind this story’s prominence in the media, Hundley feels she bears little responsibility in the drama that eventually cost herself and Phillips their jobs and provided endless gossip fodder for the media:

“I didn’t in any time working at ESPN follow anybody around, wanting any sort of relationship with anybody. I didn’t harass anyone. I didn’t want anything from anyone.”

If a murderer begging for forgiveness yesterday was difficult enough to watch, today’s Oprah featured chimp attack victim Charla Nash who…well….holy mother of god.

Earlier this year Charla Nash went to help a friend retrieve a set of keys from a chimpanzee who didn’t appreciate the attention. The chimpanzee named Travis ripped off Nash’s eyes, lips, nose, various parts of her scalp and parts of her jawbone.

Travis, who had appeared on television shows, was apparently suffering from Lyme Disease, well before Charla Nash’s friend killed him with a butchers knife to stop him attacking her.

Charla Nash appeared on Oprah wearing a hat with a veil across her face, and there’s a reason why: there’s not much left of it at all. In fact, she’s fortunate to be alive at all.

Convicted Killer Eric Wrinkles Apologizes on Oprah

Convicted killer and death row inmate Eric Wrinkles made an appearance on Oprah today to apologize for what he had done.

Eric Wrinkles was sentenced to death for the brutal murder of his estranged wife, his brother in law, and his brother in law’s wife in 1994. Wrinkles claims that he was a meth addict and never intended to kill anyone, but now understands that what he did was wrong.

Eric Wrinkles’ nieces and nephew said on the show that they forgave him and didn’t want him to die, but other relatives appearing on the show naturally aren’t naturally quite as supportive of Wrinkles decision to publicly apologize.

Wrinkles is scheduled to be executed December 11, and has exhausted all grounds for appeal except seeking clemency from the State Governor.

Real Chance of Love 2 Winner

Real Chance of Love 2: Back in the Saddle, the second season of the VH1 reality television dating series concluded Monday night and a winner named. If you don’t want to know the results, stop reading from this point.

Ahmad Givens (Real) and Kamal Givens (Chance), former contestants on I Love New York were the central figures, with twenty female contestants taking part in various challenges. With two men in the field, there was always going to be two Real Chance of Love 2 Winners.

And the winners were Kamille Leai (Hot Wings) and Jackie DaFonseca (Doll) after Pocahontas was eliminated by Real and Sassy was eliminated by Chance. Hot Wings ties up with Chance, and Doll ties up with Real.

Notable for show fans, in the finale Real stated the reason why he and Corn Fed broke up because he found out that she broke up her engagement to another man a month before coming to the first season of the show.

Too soon? Law & Order caught filming episode about wrong-way Taconic crash

The Law & Order franchise is known for its “ripped from the headlines” tagline and story structure, and hasn’t shied away from very contemporary true crime inspiration in the past.

Last week in Manhattan, the popular network drama caused a bit of a stir filming scenes for an episode about a fiery July 26th crash on New York’s Taconic Parkway. The disaster gripped local media because it took the lives of all but one in Diane Schuler’s packed minivan as well as three people in another vehicle. Eight people including Schuler died that day, with the sole survivor being her young son. Among the dead were Schuler’s children and three nieces. It was revealed soon after that Schuler was likely both drunk and high that morning.

Onlookers gathered at West 151st Street in Harlem near Adam Clayton Powell Blvd, and opined to the Post about whether the episode was in good taste. The violent and tragic deaths due to what was ostensibly a decision by one individual have deeply affected to New Yorkers, one of whom told the post it was “too soon,” and added, “those babies just died.” Others responded with a stereotypical New York laissez faire attitude:

But Harlem resident Juan Asuncion, 40, shruggingly said, “It’s probably way too soon to be doing this, but that’s the business these people are in.”

Connors Farm Features Seven Acre “Family Guy” Maze

Corn Mazes tend to feature the same old labyrinth designs from one maze to another, but not in the case of the Connor Family Farm. The Connors created a 7 acre maze with two of the Fox Channel Family Guy cartoon characters carved into their field.

The family pet Brian and youngest son Stewie can be seen in the middle of the maze, with the “Family Guy” name carved into the top of the field.

Duggars keep breeding, grandchild Mackynzie Renee Duggar born to Josh and Anna

Oldest Duggar son Josh and wife Anna added the first arrow to their quiver officially last night, with the arrival of Mackynzie Renee Duggar.

Mackynzie was born late Thursday, weighing 8 lbs, 0 oz. Lucky Anna gets to have the whole TLC viewing population watch the childbirth ordeal on the latest installment of 18 Kids and Counting, entitled First Grandduggar. The baby was born at home with the assistance of a doula, a midwife and mother-in-law Michelle Duggar, who is expecting her 19th child next year. Awkward!

New baby Mackynzie can expect to be joined by her younger aunt or uncle next spring.

Jon Gosselin v. Nancy Grace

Good: Jon Gosselin gets his sniveling, Ed Hardy clad ass handed to him.

Bad: It’s by professional kvetch Nancy Grace. But if you can forget that for a moment, Grace really lays into Gosselin, calling him on his selfishness and college girl philandering. She basically calls him a liar, says both Jon and Kate are self-absorbed, and points out that he only wanted the kids off the show when he got booted. Watching him hem and haw at the end after Grace nails him for answering a question about the kids with a response about himself was fantastic. I suppose we can like Nancy Grace for a day.

My favorite part was Niecy Nash. That woman can say anything and be fabulous and compelling.

SNL on Obama accomplishments: “jack” and “squat”

Jon Gosselin Wants His Kids Off The Show

After being fired from “Jon & Kate Plus Eight,” Jon Gosselin is firing a “cease and desist” to TLC. The infamous reality show patriarch wants to put a stop on the production of the show.

His attorney Mark Jay Heller told The Insider that Jon, who also put a stop on his divorce from Kate Gosselin, feels that his family is like a trainwreck waiting to happen.

TLC’s original agreement with the Gosselin family may be rendered null and void and enforceable because the channel never secured the special permits required by the Pennsylvania Child Labor Law as a “prerequisite” for the eight kids’ involvement in the show.

Jon also claims TLC “failed to designate the appropriate compensation to be allocated to the children” and “it may ultimately be determined that TLC has not provided for compensation for the eight children over the past four years.”

The news comes just a few days after the cable network announced they have reformatted their top-rating reality show to “Kate Plus Eight,” edging Jon from appearing in the reality series as a regular cast.

Heller clears that Jon has been considering to take his twins and sextuplets off the program for weeks prior to TLC’s announcement that they are changing the show’s title.

TLC cuts John, now it’s just “Kate Plus 8″

Dad of 8 and d-list playboy Jon Gosselin has been dumped from the title and main storyline of TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8.

Starting November 2nd, the show will officially change titles to Kate Plus 8. No specific reasons were given for the switch, and Jon will still appear in some episodes, but speculation points to Jon’s continual frat boy behavior. Even before the Gosselin’s impending divorce was announced, Jon was caught out by paparazzi partying with college girls, schtupping the daughter of Kate’ plastic surgeon and generally behaving caddishly. Since the split, he has been photographed publicly kissing girlfriend Hailey Glassman while Kate stays home with their eight children.

It seems America’s interest in the Gosselins has faded tremendously as well. While Jon and Kate’s fifth season premiere grabbed a record 9.8 million viewers, only 4.2 million people tuned in for the new crop of episodes on August 3rd, and only 1.2 million people tuned in this past Monday.

Jenny Slate won’t be fired for SNL slipup

NBC executives won’t be firing Jenny Slate after her accidental opening-night f-word.

Unlike early SNL star Charles Rocket, who was famously fired after the same error during a “Who Shot J.R.?” Dallas skit, Slate will be able to keep her job. And as the slip occurred late in the show (around 12:40 EST), the FCC is unlikely to fine the production for indecency. RadarOnline posted about the reaction at NBC over the slip-up, and the rumors that Slate’s first show was also her last:

“No truth to firing conjecture,” NBC spokeswoman Sharon Pannozzo said. “She will not be fired.”

However, show executives were said to have had a “big meeting” after the incident and were generally not happy about it, and Slate did not attend the show’s opening night after party. The SNL rookie’s mis-step was the second time in two week New Yorkers were exposed to an accidental “f*ck.” Local anchor Ernie Anastos was caught out telling a co-anchor to “keep f*cking that chicken” live on a weeknight news broadcast. Anastos has since apologized.

New ‘American Idol’ Judge Ellen DeGeneres will change show’s “sexual tension”

Ryan Seacrest says new ‘American Idol’ judge Ellen DeGeneres will change the “sexual tension” on the show.

The host is very pleased the openly gay star is joining the judging panel which includes Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, because she will bring a new dynamic to the series.

He said, “We love Ellen, she is a superstar. She will change the sexual tension. Simon and Paula had a specific sort of tension, but this will be quite different.”

Although Ryan is excited about Ellen’s arrival, judge Randy insists she has a lot to learn from himself, Simon and Kara.

He quipped, “She’ll be following my lead, I’ve told her to watch the dog.”

Ellen is taking Paula Abdul’s spot on the TV talent show, and will join the panel after the audition rounds are completed.

In the wake of Paula’s unexpected departure in August, her role was filled by a number of celebrity judges, including Shania Twain, Victoria Beckham and Mary J. Blige, for the audition stage.

Ellen who is married to actress Portia de Rossi said, “This is so exciting for me. Hopefully, I will be the people’s point of view because I’m just like everyone at home, I sit there and I watch it.

“I’m not looking at it in a critical way from the producer’s mind. I’m looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person.”

The full-size Lego house nobody wants

Top Gear presenter James May is giving away a free two-storey house. The only drawbacks is that the house it made out of Lego and you have to pick it up by Tuesday.

James May and 1,000 helpers has just built the world’s first full-size Lego house using 3,3 million Lego bricks. It even comes with a shower, working toilet, toaster, kitchen utensils and a bed.

The 20-ft tall house is built in Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey, UK, but now the vineyard needs the land back to harvest its grapes. If the house isn’t removed by Tuesday at 8.00 AM, it will be hacked into bits with chainsaws.

According to James May, Legoland UK was supposed to take it to the theme park in Berkshire, but its too expensive to move. Legoland has critized James May, because he hasn’t consulted their model-makers on, how to built a moveable house.

Lego has donated the bricks to James May, so the house or bricks cannot be sold or used as a public attraction, but only given away for charity.

Emmy Winners 2009: Mad Men named Outstanding Drama Series

Hit US show Mad Men, about the advertising industry in 1960s New York, collected one of the top prizes at the annual ceremony at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.

The show’s creator Matthew Weiner said: “It is an amazing time to work in TV. And, I know that everything is changing, but I’m not afraid of it because I feel like all the different media just gives more choice and more entertainment. It’s better for the viewers in the end and I’m glad to be a part of it.”

‘30 Rock’, a series about a fictional TV programme, took the Outstanding Comedy Series award for the third time, while its star Alex Baldwin was named Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series.

His co-star Tina Fey failed to win Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series – which went to Toni Collette for ‘United States Of Tara’ – but was honoured for her impression of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, which she regularly performed on ‘Saturday Night Live’.

Glenn Close won Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series for her role in ‘Damages’, while Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series went to Bryan Cranston for ‘Breaking Bad’.

Jon Cryer won Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series for ‘Two and a Half Men’, which stars Charlie Sheen, and took to the stage to make a few jokes.

He quipped: “I used to think that awards were just shallow tokens of momentary popularity, but now I realise they are the only true measure of a person’s worth as a human being.”

Kristin Chenoweth was named Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for ‘Pushing Daisies’, although the show has now been cancelled.

When she collected her accolade, she joked: “I’m not employed now so I’d like to be on ‘Mad Men’. I also like ‘The Office’ and ‘24′.”

The ceremony was hosted by ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star Neil Patrick Harris.
