Miley Cyrus Scheduled To Perform At The MTV Europe Music Awards

Miley Cyrus is bringing her tongue to Amsterdam. The controversial singer is reportedly scheduled to perform at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards.

If the network had any problems with the former Hannah Montana star’s twerked-out performance at the MTV Music Awards earlier this year, then they don’t seem to care. The network recently added Cyrus to the growing list of artists set to appear at the event.

According to Variety, Katy Perry and The Killers will also appear at the MTV Europe Music Awards this November. The network will reportedly announce other musicians in the coming days.

LMFAO’s Redfoo will host the event, while Ariana Grande will handle the backstage interviews. Will Ferrell will don his Ron Burgundy disguise one more time to present an award during the ceremony.

MTV News reports that Miley Cyrus is up for no less than four awards at this year’s EMAs. Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Cyrus’ twerking partner Robin Thicke also received four nominations. Justin Timberlake, as well as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, received five nominations this year.

Considering the amount of attention Cyrus received at this year’s MTV VMAs, chances are all eyes will be on the singer when she hits the stage on November 10. Since she loves to keep people talking, there’s no telling what she has cooked up for the EMAs.

In addition to appearing at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Miley Cyrus is presently scheduled to perform at this year’s Jingle Ball. Robin Thicke will also be in attendance at the holiday concert, though it’s unknown if the two will join forces one more time.

Cyrus recently discussed twerking and her fizzled relationship with Liam Hemsworth during a recent appearance on Ellen. The singer commented that people spend a lot more time discussing her private life these days.

“I think people spend more time actually thinking about it then I really do. I just believe when a chapter is done you have to close it and start that new one. That’s kind of where I am right now. I felt like I have so much to be thankful for at this time that my energy hasn’t really been focused on that,” she explained to Ellen DeGeneres.
