Usher Rings In 35th Birthday With Justin Bieber, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Jermaine Dupri At Starry Bash
Usher’s 35th birthday party celebrations on Monday night was the place to be with guests such as Justin Bieber, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and girlfriend Cassie, Scooter Braun, Jermaine Dupri, Miguel, and Ashley Benson, among the stars in attendance.
The R&B superstar’s bash threw down at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
From Instagram photos of the merriment guests enjoyed a fun dance-off competition, and at some point a boxing ring-themed cake with a centerpiece snap of Usher as a baby was presented to the veteran star.
A mentor to Bieber — Usher met the then 14-year-old Atlanta in 2008 through his manager Scooter Braun before a record deal with Island Def Jam was signed — pictures of the older singer hugging his protégé at the party reveals the pair’s continuing friendship.
Usher was recently seen in a sneak peek of Bieber’s forthcoming movie-documentary Believe, in which he observed,
“As a 19-year-old, Justin is now becoming his own man.”

Among the celebrities who took to Twitter to send congratulatory messages to the “OMG” singer, Ellen DeGeneres wrote:
”Happy birthday, @Usher! He’s one of the most talented musicians and performers I’ve ever met. And I’ve met Weird Al Yankovic.”
Braun added, “great night out for my brother @usher’s birthday. #GreatParty.”

Dupri shared a photo of himself and Usher, writing,
“Happy birthday to my Patna @howuseeit and many more.”
Former ‘The Voice’ co-star Shakira posted: ”Dear @Usher, a great colleague, an exemplary artist and human being! Happy bday and many blessings for you today and always!! Shak.”
As well as sending birthday wishes before the celebration, afterwards Bieber tweeted,
“@Usher, that was a great time. love u man. happy birthday.”
