‘Dumb and Dumber To’: Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels Spotted On The Set In Atlanta [Photos]

Production on Bobby and Peter Farrelly’s Dumb and Dumber To is officially underway in Atlanta. An eagle-eyed photographer managed to snap photos of the stars doing their thing.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels were spotted in Marietta Square on Monday morning (October 14). You can check out images of Harry and Lloyd below. The pictures arrive courtesy of shutterbug John Spink, who graciously shared these images on his Twitter page.

In addition to Carrey and Daniels, the upcoming Dumb and Dumber sequel features Kathleen Turner, Brady Bluhm, Laurie Holden, Steve Tom, and Rob Riggle. The Inquisitr previously reported that Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence will have a cameo in the long-awaited follow-up.

According to the Marietta Patch, filming on Dumb and Dumber To resulted in some road closures in and around the area. Once the crew wraps up a driving scene in the area, most of the filming should be contained to Glover Park.

Fans aren’t the only ones who were hoping Bobby and Peter Farrelly would get around to making another Dumb and Dumber movie. The director themselves always hoped they could make a sequel, though Jim Carrey’s lack of enthusiasm ultimately prevented them from moving forward.

Peter Farrelly said earlier this year:

“We always said that it would be fun to do another one just because it was such a fun experience and we kind of left them off where they started in that movie so it is the kind of thing you could do a couple of them. But over the years, Jim didn’t want to do another one, until recently, about a year ago or so, he called us up and he was in a hotel watching TV and ‘Dumb & Dumber’ came on and he sat there howling and said, ‘We gotta do another one!’ and I said, ‘That’s awesome, let’s do it.'”
