Stan Lee Designs New Superheroes, You Get To Write Their Stories

Comic book legend Stan Lee is creating four new superheroes but he will not be writing their stories. The characters are being created exclusively for Plotagon, a software platform that allows users to create animated movies.

According to the company “Plotagon is a tool that lets anyone create an animated movie directly from a written screenplay. Write your story, choose actors, environments and music. Press play and your movie is done. It’s that simple.”

Plotagon software is free to download and is available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.

Plotagon is now available with five characters and six environments, while the software company has promised to add more characters in the near future. Those new characters will include people from Alice in Wonderland and Pride & Prejudice.

Users can buy new characters from the Plogagon in-app store.

Stan Lee’s new superheroes will be available by way of a $9.99 expansion pack and will make their debut in early November. The expansion pack will also arrive with new scenes and settings that match Lee’s characters.

Talking to Variety Stan Lee proclaims, “I have had great fun creating all my characters and have really enjoyed seeing my fans creating their own stories. Now, through this collaboration with Plotagon, they can create their own superhero movies.”

The 90-year-old former President and Chairman of Marvel Comics is known for creating some of the most riveting comic book characters of all-time, including the X-Men, the Hulk and Spider-Man.

Plotagon, a Sweden-based company, launched in August and have promised to act as the “magical typewriter” for users.

Along with creating Stan Lee inspired storylines the Plotagon software also offers an involved community for fellow filmmakers to share their stories with other users.
