Ginnifer Goodwin Engaged To Co-Star Josh Dallas

Ginnifer Goodwin, the Once Upon a Time star, is engaged to marry her co-star Josh Dallas. According to People magazine, which broke the story, the happy couple got engaged on Wednesday in L.A.

The couple released an official statement to announce their engagement publicly: “We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon a Time.”

When the pair met back in 2011, Dallas was married to his now ex-wife Lara Pulver. At the time E! News reported that Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas had an: “immediate connection when they met,” although – of course – were “just friends.”

The source reported: “They were shooting in Canada together, and because they were both away from home, they inevitably started to socialize together off the set as well as on—and they got closer as friends.”

Another factor was the distance between Dallas and Pulver who split towards the end of 2011. As he already established a connection with Goodwin it made the transition that much easier.

The source continued to speak about the growing relationship: “The relationship has been full-on since the moment it turned romantic and they spend every moment together. There was no reason to wait and take it slow—they fell in love, and it feels right.”
