Suzanne Somers Latest Celebrity To Pick A Fight With Miley Cyrus

Suzanne Somers has a bone to pick with Miley Cyrus.

After the young pop star commented in an interview that people over 40 don’t have sex anymore, the 66-year-old Somers made a public correction. In an interview the former Three’s Company star noted that she and husband Alan Hamel still have sex twice a day.

The revealing tidbit from Suzanne Somers is part of a trend of other celebrities rebuking Miley Cyrus publicly. It may be that she rubs people the wrong way, or that the older generation of stars seems put off by her YOLO ways, but for whatever reason Miley has faced some high-profile feuds.

Before Somers it was Irish singer Sinead O’Connor, who has now written four open letters to the 20-year-old Cyrus. Miley sparked all of it by comparing her music video for “Wrecking Ball” to O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

Sinead didn’t take too kindly to the comparison and ripped Miley for being “pimped” by the music industry. The two went back and forth, with Miley comparing Sinead to Amanda Bynes and Sinead slamming Miley for deriding mental illness

“You can take five minutes today between g- string f–kin’ changes to publicly apologize and remove your abusive tweets,” SInead wrote. “When you publicly apologize to Amanda and myself and all mental health sufferers as well as all who were abused by priests that will end the matter as far as I am concerned…When you end up in the psych ward or rehab I’ll be happy to visit you.. and would not lower myself to mock you.”

The harsh words made the spat with Suzanne Somers look tame by comparison, and maybe just points to Suzanne taking a chance to brag about her sex life.
