David Boreanaz Denies Rumors About Leaving ‘Bones’
David Boreanaz has denied rumors that he is leaving Bones. Rumors began circulating earlier this week, claiming the actor would not return for season 10.
Several media outlets suggested Boreanaz was ready to quit. The actor reportedly told his friends that season 9 would be his last.
Boreanaz addressed the rumors through social media. He posted a response, denying any intention to leave the show. He said that his love for Bones is “a blessing,” and he would never leave a show that he loves.
As reported by IMDB, Boreanaz is a native of Buffalo, New York. After graduating from Ithaca College, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
David Boreanaz eventually landed a role in the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He later reprised the role in the spin-off series Angel.
In 2005, the talented actor was cast to play Seeley Booth in the crime series Bones. Boreanaz plays an ex-Army Ranger turned Special Agent. In his position with the FBI, Seely helps solve crime by examining human remains.
As reported by Radar Online, the series draws more than 7 million viewers each week. According to Nielson TV ratings, Bones is fourth in its current time slot, falling behind The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, and How I Met Your Mother.
A recent decline in ratings is blamed on the network moving the program from Thursdays to Mondays. Despite the slight decline, the program maintains a solid fan base.
As reported by Web Pro News, Boreanaz’s on-screen love interest, Bones, is played by Emily Deschanel. Fans have waited for years to see Booth and Bones admit their feelings for each other.
Booth finally proposed, and the couple planned a wedding. Unfortunately, one of their cases took precedence and the wedding was cancelled.
