David And Victoria Beckham Sell Countryside Mansion For $19 Million

David and Victoria Beckham have sold their Hertfordshire mansion for $19 million. Not bad.

One of the most famous couples in the world have recently gotten rid of their old home in the British countryside, which is known as “Beckingham” Palace.

The mansion sold of just over $19 million according to the British tabloid Mirror. The couple reportedly bought it for a mere $4 million back in 1999.

The soccer superstar and former Spice Girl wife kept the home during his time playing in the US with the team the Los Angeles Galaxy, during which time they lived in another posh area of the city, Beverly Hills.

The Beckhams have reportedly snagged one of the finest homes in London and from the cost of the home, it appears they needed all the money they made in the sale of the old house. The new home reportedly costs $70 million.

David and Victoria Beckham have four children, Harper, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.

The country home sat on 12 acres of land and the couple was reportedly asking up to $24 million, so it seems they had to settle for less money in the final deal.

Apparently David Beckham is looking for some cash as he has also supposedly gotten rid of his Ferraris, Jaguars, and the home the family owned in France.

“David in particular was desperately sad to sell the family home as there are so many memories there”, a source told the tabloid the Sun.

“They have had years of happiness in the home, but practically now there is no need to keep it.” the source adds.

The new home is said to have 46 rooms, a pool, a movie theater, and a triple garage to house the rest of David’s collection.

David and Victoria Beckham say they are starting a new era for their family with the move to London.
