Page Six has reported that some unlucky son-of-a-gun will be getting axed at OK! after they destroyed Ashlee Simpson’s name on the mag cover announcing her new baby boy with Pete Wentz. Susan Toepfer was named the new Editor-in-Chief just a few weeks back, and now? Oh, the agony:

“[...] The glossy had its first big bungle. [OK!] somehow managed to misspell Ashlee Simpson’s name as “Ashley” - on the cover, no less. A rep for the magazine told Page Six, ‘It is highly embarrassing and, sadly, someone will probably be fired.’”

Imagine the finger pointing! I’m sure it was brutal. Of course, said “source” could just be lying to keep Papa Joe at bay. Any bets on whether or not someone will actually be asked to leave?
