Diana Taurasi: WNBA First Team Spot Safe Despite Kissing, Nude Photos Controversies

Diana Taurasi’s WNBA performance has been quite good and Diana Taurasi’s nude photos are ancient history, so two WNBA players kissing and shoving is unlikely to change a thing.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Skylar Diggins’ WNBA first team spot wasn’t harmed by nude photo leaks this year, either.

Given such a history, Diana Tarasi’s nude photos history is unlikely to affect her WNBA career at all, either. ESPN featured a body issue with Diana Tarasi’s nude photo shoot gracing the ESPN cover. Some criticized Diana Tarasi at the time, saying the WNBA player had hit “rock bottom” and that she was setting a “bad example.” Needless to say, we haven’t seen Diana Tarasi nude in years.

This WNBA season Diana Taurasi has “averaged 20.3 points, 6.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 32.3 minutes a game this season. Taurasi shot 45.6 percent successfully, including 34.5 percent from the three-point range and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line. Diana Taurasi’s WNBA career has averaged 20.5 points, 4.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds a game over 10 years.

Earlier this week, Diana Taurasi’s WNBA performance earned her a spot on the 2013 All-WNBA First Team. This is Diana Taurasi’s eighth time being selection for the WNBA first team, which ties an all-time record made by Lisa Leslie.

But Diana Taurasi kissing Seimone Augustus managed to make headlines. They had simply become entangled and Diana Taurasi made a joke of it by planting a kiss on Augustus’ forehead. The referee called a personal foul against both WNBA players despite Augustus saying it was just a “tango dance” and Diana Taurasi saying, “We were just trying to make sweet love.”

What do you think of Diana Taurasi’s WNBA performance so far? Do you think the Diana Taurasi nude photos set a “bad example” for people watching the WNBA?
