A synopsis for The Avengers 2 recently arrived online. However, the boys and girls at Walt Disney Pictures claim the summary wasn’t officially released by the studio.
Just days after the Age of Ultron Comic-Con teaser arrived online, someone posted a synopsis for the upcoming sequel on Internet Movie Database. Since you can’t always trust the info that pops up on that website, it’s probably not wise to put your faith in that write-up.
Here’s the rumored Avengers 2 plot synopsis that’s currently making the rounds with fans:
As the US government create a force, known as Ultron, The Avengers are told they are not needed any longer. But when Ultron turns against Humanity, it’s time for The Avengers to assemble yet again for their most dangerous challenge ever.
Although the summary sounds entirely plausible, the folks at Disney didn’t waste any time weighing in on the situation. According to Worst Previews, the studio said the synopsis wasn’t official. However, the representatives for the studio didn’t say the write-up wasn’t accurate.
At the the moment there isn’t much concrete Avengers 2 information available online. The most recent confirmation from Disney and Marvel Studios concerned who would play the role of Ultron. James Spader was ultimately tapped to tackle the villain in the upcoming sequel.
According to director Joss Whedon, Spader was the only choice for the character.
“Spader was my first and only choice. He’s got that hypnotic voice that can be eerily calm and compelling, but he’s also very human and humorous. Ultron is not HAL. Spader can play all of the levels. He’s the guy to break the Avengers into pieces,” Whedon told the folks at Marvel during a recent chat.
