‘Breaking Bad’ Star Aaron Paul Raises Nearly $1.8 Million For Anti-Bullying Campaign

Aaron Paul plays a tough guy in the hit series Breaking Bad, but he is really just a good guy in real life. Paul recently tweeted that nearly $1.8 million had been raised for a charity that promotes anti-bullying.

The charity called the Kind Campaign, which was founded by Paul’s wife, Lauren Parsekian, who herself was bullied in middle school is near and dear to the AMC series’ star.

Paul has been promoting his wife’s cause on Twitter for several weeks and his fans responded with the generous donations.

According to the website Kind Campaign “is an internationally recognized movement, documentary, and school program based upon the powerful belief in KINDness that brings awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of girl-against-girl ‘crime.'”

Parsekian, who in her biography tells of her torturous years in middle school when her friends singled her out and turned on her making her life a living nightmare, culminating in her attempt to take her own life, is trying to send the message that girls are not alone when they are bullied.

The Breaking Bad actor clearly is passionate about his wife’s cause and thankful for fans support and has given a big boost the the worthy charity.

They have even set up a contest in which the winner and a friend will get the star treatment with flight and hotel, ground transportation by Jesse Pinkman himself, the opportunity to “cook” with, watch the final episode, and party with Aaron Paul and other Breaking Bad cast members, and more.

Sounds pretty cool and very worthy. Some of the tweets Aaron Paul has shared are below:

The Breaking Bad tough guy Aaron Paul is clearly very proud of this wife’s enterprise, and he’s not afraid to say so.
