Lamar Odom Lashes Out At Father, Defends Kardashians

Lamar Odom is defending the Kardashians after his father called the family controlling.

Joe Odom said of the Kardashians, “They brought him down. He would be better off without them. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break and divorce Khloe.”

He also blamed the reality family for spreading rumors that his son is on drugs, and said that Khloe Kardashian doesn’t care about his son, “she just cares about their image and money.”

Lamar Odom lashed out at his father on Twitter and said the Kardashians helped him through this “dark time.”

He wrote, “How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own ‘son’. He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me.”

Odom also slammed his father for his selfishness and said the Kardashians have never asked for anything from him.

“He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return,” he wrote. “They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time.”

The former Lakers player said his father wasn’t invited to his and Kardashian’s wedding, and that Joe Odom has never met Kris Jenner and some of his other in-laws.

Odom added, “Only person 2 blame is myself. Say what you want about me but leave the ones who have done nothing but protect and love me out of this! This goes out to everyone!”

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian married on September 27, 2009. Rumors recently surfaced that Odom cheated on Kardashian and is addicted to crack, and, while Kardashian defended her husband for a while, it looks like those days are gone. The youngest Kardashian sister, the 29-year-old recently dropped “Odom” from her name on Instagram, sparking speculation that she may be seeking a divorce.
