Jessica “Washingtonienne” Cutler to marry

Jessica Cutler, the blogger and political staffer who made headlines back in 2004 when she was sacked for blogging about her sexual exploits is engaged.

If you don’t remember the story, in 2004 while a staff assistant for Senator Michael DeWine, Cutler published a short-lived blog called Washingtonienne describing her life in Washington, D.C. which included graphic details of her sex life, including getting paid for sex by members of the Washington political elite.

Her identity was revealed by then Gawker Media owned Wonkette in May 2004, resulting in a scandal on Capitol Hill. After being fired from her job, Cutler appeared in Playboy and wrote a book, but has since fallen into relative obscurity.

According to Gawker, the lucky man is Charles Rubio, an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York.

A Pretty Woman style ending? only time will tell.
