Amy Poehler And Will Arnett Reunite At The Emmys

While the Emmys took on a somber tone throughout the whole ceremony, there was a special moment happening between Amy Poehler and ex Will Arnett. Fans of the couple that could do no wrong were crushed when the two announced that they were separating in 2012.

Arnett and Poehler had been happily married since 2003. However, the spark between the two seemed to have never died at the Emmys on Sunday night. Proving that they still have the right stuff, Amy and Will shared a special moment together as they reunited backstage at the Emmys.

Amy and Will’s magical moment together backstage was captured by the Emmy’s live stream that allows fans to track the celebrities behind the scenes of the awards show. The best moment captured was surely between Poehler and Arnett.

Poehler and Arnett were caught backstage at the Emmys sitting together side by side and conversing pretty happily to one another. The funny pair reignited spirits that they had crushed after the pair announced that they were splitting back in 2012.

That’s not the only Emmy shenanigans fans of Will and Amy witnessed. Arnett was asked about Poehler on the red carpet before the ceremony started. During a CBS live stream, a reporter clearly didn’t know the couple were separated and asked how he prepared with his wife for the Emmy Awards.

What was truly an awkward moment, Arnett replied by stating: “I don’t really have a significant other. She doesn’t exist.” Like a regular comedian, Arnett didn’t let the cringe-worthy opportunity pass him by. He then joked and said, “I’m excited, I can’t wait to watch this back on YouTube all week.”

Does this mean Amy and Will are on the road to recovery? It’s not likely. Although we’re happy to see the ex pair acting so friendly towards each other, it looks like this is just a case of two grown ups checking their egos at the door for their kids. Poehler and Arnett share two children together, Archibald Arnett, 4, and Abel Arnett, 3.

That aside, Arnett revealed earlier in the year to Details magazine that he had found joy after his split from Amy Poehler, saying that he’s 43, and found his happiness in his children.

Poehler seems to be finding another kind of happiness and is dating funny man Nick Kroll.
