Anna Faris Unrecognizable At This Year’s Emmy Awards [Photo]

Anna Faris was nearly unrecognizable at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday.

The House Bunny star sported a Monique Lhuillier dress and blonde bangs during her appearance on the red carpet. However, the folks at Yahoo! News believe the actress was most likely wearing a platinum blonde wig at the awards ceremony.

During her conversation with People, Anna Faris credited her newborn son Jack for helping her get back in shape. The actress said her arms are in incredible shape because she picks up her baby on a regular basis.

“My arms have never been toned before and now they are because he’s huge. He’s got a huge head, a huge body. He’s like 60 pounds,” Faris told the publication.

Since husband Chris Pratt is currently filming director James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy overseas, the actress had to attend the Emmys all by herself. Although Pratt got in great shape for the role, Anna Faris wasn’t overly impressed with his physical transformation.

“It’s so annoying. I can’t wait for him to come back from shooting. I do [miss his old size] a little bit. We both love to eat and drink, so I’m sure [the weight won’t stay off]. You have to live life sometimes, you know?” she said.

Faris recently told the Seattle Times that Pratt encouraged her to take the lead role in the upcoming sitcom Mom. Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre’s new program debuts tonight (September 23).

The actress explained:

I had left the script on the kitchen counter, and my husband picked it up. And he read the first page, and he said, ‘Whatever you’re doing, put it down right now.’ He’s like, ‘This is you.’ And it felt like that. Every once in a while you get fortunate enough to play a role that kind of feels like Cinderella’s shoe.
