Aaryn Gries Knows She’s Racist, She’s Working On It [Video]

Controversial Big Brother contestant Aaryn Gries has long denied that she is a racist (despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary), but it looks like she has finally copped to her offensive attitude for real.

Sort of.

In a chat with TMZ, the former contestant admits that she says a lot of offensive things, and that she has been doing so for years without repercussion. She says again that she doesn’t feel any hatred for other races in her heart, but adds that no one has ever told her that the things she says are offensive.

“No one had expressed that I was taken that way,” she said, adding that she wished someone had warned her about the offensive different way that she talks before she went on Big Brother and, you know, national TV.

“I am not a racist,” she said, adding that sometimes “you can say mindless things that will haunt you.”

Gries also apologized for throwing all of Texas under the bus for the way she talks. When Julie Chen asked if she was a racist during her exit interview, Gries proudly declared that she’s from Texas and that’s the way they talk.

Chen later disagreed, and now, Gries seems to think that it was a pretty stupid thing to say.

“Blaming Texas was the biggest mistake I made… I was in defense mode,” she said.

So what do you think, America? Is Aaryn Gries’ third or fourth (lost count) half-apology for her offensive comments genuine? Sound off!
