Henry Cavill On Set In ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ [Photos]

Finally! What Henry Cavill (Man Of Steel, The Tudors) fans have been waiting for, some images from the set of his new movie The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Rejoice!

The Guy Ritchie adaptation of the sixties television show of the same name is underway in London, having begun filming on September 9, according to reports.

On Thursday, several images show Henry Cavill during a night shoot in London wearing a suit, that fits him quite well and carrying a retro looking briefcase.

There are also some vintage cars being used for the film, which is making people speculate as to what time period the story will be set in.

Henry Cavill plays CIA agent Napoleon Solo, who joins forces with KGB spy Illya Kuryakin, played by Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger, J. Edgar) in their efforts to fight a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.

From the looks of the photos, posted for all to enjoy on Just Jared, Ritchie is keeping the original series’ setting, but there is nothing official from the producers yet.

However, 30-year-old British actor, Henry Cavill, who is coming from a career changing success after his Man Of Steel’s impressive results at the box office, is set to show that he is not just a one hit wonder.

There was no sign of his co-star Armie Hammer, who in contrast to Cavill’s successful year had a not-so-good summer, after his movie The Lone Ranger had a dismal showing in theaters everywhere.

Now, he is trying to redeem himself and what better way of doing it than joining the director who revamped Sherlock Holmes so successfully.

Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer are joined by a strong supporting cast lead by British actor Hugh Grant, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris, and Luca Calvani.

Take a look at some of Henry Cavill’s images from the set of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
