Jennifer Garner To Star In Male Strip Club Drama

Jennifer Garner is creating a new pilot about a male strip club called “The Whole Shebang.”

According to Variety, the new show will focus on a newly single soccer mom who inherits a male strip club. The lead role has not been cast but Jennifer Garner is not expected to appear on screen in the new show.

Garner will be an executive producer on the project via her company Vandalia Films. She’s already hired screenwriter Jason Micallef to pen the pilot episode. The Hollywood Reporter notes that Micallef and Garner previously worked together on the 2011 indie comedy Butter.

Deadline reports that Fox has put a pilot commitment to Garner for “The Whole Shebang.”

The new male strip club drama is an exciting project but it doesn’t really compare to husband Ben Affleck’s new project.

Affleck will be starring as Batman in the new Man Of Steel sequel.

Affleck has seen a lot of Bat-Lash since the casting announcement was made, and Jennifer Garner did her part to defend him today.

Garner said: “I was excited for him. I was excited because he had a real take on what he wanted to do, and you know, I have to say, my husband is a pretty great storyteller himself, and I’m excited to watch him do it.”
