Henry Cavill Cleans Up ‘Sesame Street’ For A Quick Lesson

Henry Cavill hit Sesame Street for one episode and taught the denizens a lesson in respect.

Just when you thought Superman had seen it all, he finds a whole new challenge before him. No, it isn’t Lex Luthor or General Zod or any of the man of steel’s major villains this time; Superman actor Henry Cavill took on Sesame Street and saved the three little pigs from the big bad wolf.

Man of Steel Henry Cavill isn’t the only super personality to hit Sesame Street lately, as Tom Hiddleston – the actor who has played Loki twice now – stopped by recently to teach Cookie Monster about self control.

Anyway, we all know the story of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. One of the three little pigs lived in a straw house, another in a wood house, and the last in a brick house, and the big bad wolf succeeded in blowing all but the last of these houses over to get to his meal. In the Sesame Street episode with Henry Cavill, Superman stopped by to halt the big bad wolf, but not before teaching Elmo and the Big Bad Wolf about respect.

The clip below starts with Henry Cavill standing next to Elmo as they talk about respect, which follows the golden rule of treating others in a way that makes them feel cared for and important. Suddenly the three little pigs start running by, followed by the big bad wolf, and the Man of Steel asks what’s going on.

The three little pigs proceed to tell him that the wolf wants to huff and puff and blow their respective houses in. Henry Cavill follows Elmo’s lead and tells the big bad wolf about respect. The wolf learns his lesson and goes off screen, returning with a cake decorated to say “piggies rock.” The little pigs respond by hugging the big bad wolf.

Yes, another crisis has been averted as the man of steel Henry Cavill hit Sesame Street to teach them about respect.
