If you need proof that filming on Fast and Furious 7 is presently underway, then have a look at the picture Vin Diesel recently shared with his fans.
The Riddick star is up to his old tricks on Facebook. Proving that he’s one of the most personable celebrities on social media, Diesel shared a photo from the set of the sequel on the website.
Fast and Furious 7 recently began shooting in Atlanta. The image in question shows Vin Diesel and co-star Paul Walker gazing off-camera. Diesel previously gave folks a glimpse of Dominic Toretto’s iconic cross.
Insidious: Chapter 2 director James Wan will helm the next installment of Universal’s hit franchise. Although he is known for his work in horror, Diesel seems to think Wan’s skills will benefit next year’s follow-up.
“I’m very excited about ‘Fast 7.’ We have the director that the studio brought on in James Wan, who had already conquered the horror thriller film genre and is going to bring some nuances to this seventh film. It’s going to be a new dynamic,” the star recently explained.
In addition to the series regulars, Fast and Furious 7 will star Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, and Thai action star Tony Jaa in his Hollywood debut. The star of The Protector and the Ong Bank series is reportedly very excited about the project.
“The films are fast-paced, fun and keep the audience involved. There is a great mix of humor and action, something I really appreciate. There is no better film to be involved in for a first US studio production,” Jaa told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year.
