Selma Blair Lawsuit Against Sheen And Anger Management Rumored [Report]

When Selma Blair exited Anger Management amid reports of strife with lead actor and Adonis DNA in chief Charlie Sheen, there was always an undercurrent in reporting of dramatic goings on behind the scenes — and now, a lawsuit is rumored to be a possibility due to the fallout.

While Charlie Sheen addressed Selma Blair’s Anger Management departure yesterday officially, TMZ hit back with another angle — suggesting Selma wants to sue the production for retaliatory termination, or something of the sort.

The report is just that, an unconfirmed bit of scuttlebutt. But, according to the site, Blair was being written out for other reasons when things became contentious:

“Sources connected with the show tell TMZ… Selma believes she had a big fat target on her forehead after daring to criticize Charlie for being a slacker. She repeatedly complained to the crew that everyone had to sit around and wait while Charlie sat in his trailer and learned his lines… One very well placed source tells TMZ… the plan was to phase Selma out over 8 episodes. After Charlie heard Selma was bitching about him, ‘That process was accelerated.’ ”

A source explained that Selma was in far fewer scenes than co-star Charlie — and when that and his personal life were factored in, he was often a bit slower to be ready for his scene — which did not impress Blair.

The source blabbed to TMZ:

“When you work 12 hours a day and have 3 girlfriends at home, it’s hard to memorize all the lines for tomorrow.”

If the report is correct, Selma Blair’s people and Lionsgate are attempting to work out a compromise over the Anger Management brouhaha.
