Do you see the girl in the photo above? That’s Abigail Breslin. Now scroll down to see the photo at the bottom. Yes, that’s also The Little Miss Sunshine actress.
Breslin, who is now 17 years old, now has blonde hair and is practically unrecognizable.
The actress went to the Toronto International Film Festival this week to promote her new movie August: Osage County. But it’s unclear how much her presence helped the movie.
Breslin said that her fans, and some members of the cast, didn’t even recognize her.
Breslin said: “The cast doesn’t recognize me! I was like ‘Hey, guys!’ and they were like, ‘Who’s this random girl crashing our photo shoot today?’”
Abigail said that a fan almost asked to take her picture at the film festival but the fan couldn’t tell if it was really Breslin.
The actress said: “This girl was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s Abigail Breslin,’ and her friend was like, ‘No it’s not, it looks nothing like her!’”
Thankfully, August: Osage County still has some pretty recognizable stars. You know, like Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep.
The new movie is an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Tracy Letts, and it has created some buzz at the Toronto Film Festival.
Variety chief film critic Scott Foundas writes: “(Osage County is a) splendid film version of playwright Tracy Letts’ acid-tongued Broadway triumph.”
Here’s a trailer for Abigail Breslin’s new movie.
