Djimon Hounsou will appear in Fast & Furious 7.
According to Variety, the actor’s role in the film is not known at this time. The super-successful Fast & Furious series is still under pre-production, and no details about the film have surfaced at this time. That means we don’t know what type of role Djimon Housou will take in the film
While he could jump into a role with Vin Diesel’s posse, it’s probably more likely that he will play a bad guy or an officer of the law. Introducing more new characters to the posse could upset the dynamic that has worked throughout so many films.
In the meantime, Hounsou can be seen this fall in Fox Searchlight’s Baggage Claim.
After that movie debuts, Hounsou can be spotted in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy big screen adaptation, playing a villain named Seventh Son. The movie is the first installment in Joseph Delaney’s children’s dark fantasy novel series The Wardstone Chronicles.
He can also be watched in Lakeshore Entertainment’s upcoming horror/thriller The Vatican Tapes.
James Wan is directing Fast & Furious 7.
In this writer’s opinion, the Fast & Furious series could carry on forever and I would be happy. I often joke with my wife that the actors will be so old one day we will have Fast & Furious: The Scooter Store.
