Suge Knight Arrested For Outstanding Warrant

Suge Knight was arrested this morning after he was pulled over by police in Los Angeles.

Marion “Suge” Knight, the former head of Death Row Records, was reportedly straddling two lanes in his truck at about 12:30 am. Suge passed a breathalyzer test but officers found that he was driving without a license.

But the misdemeanor traffic violation was the least of Suge’s problems. Officers found that there was a warrant out for his arrest and brought him to the Los Angeles County Jail.

UPI reports that Suge Knight was released after he posted $20,000 bail.

TMZ reports that Suge’s outstanding warrant stems from another arrest back in February when Suge was taken in for driving on a suspended license. The former head of Death Row Records failed to make an appearance at court and the authorities have been looking for him ever since.

Well, they found him. Driving in a car without plates and without a driver’s license. Again.

And it wouldn’t be surprising if Suge decides to skip his upcoming court date. In addition to skipping court back in February, he was also arrested back in 2010 after he failed to show up in court for a traffic violations.

Fox 8 notes that Knight has also been arrested for assault and weapons convictions and spent some time in prison for violating his parole.

Of course, Knight’s most famous crime is one that he was never convicted of. Many people believe that Suge Knight played a part in Tupac Shakur’s murder in 1996.
