End Zone Dancing

Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon’s Evolution Of End Zone Dancing [Video]

Over the years we’ve had different dance styles introduced to the world. In recent years we’ve had The Dougie, Gangnam style, and twerking. Now we have the king of dance Justin Timberlake, and his side kick Jimmy Fallon to show us the Evolution of End Zone Dancing.

Timberlake and Fallon’s video debuted on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and is a take off of the original viral video called The Evolution of Dance, which gained popularity in 2006. In the original video it showed dancer Andrew De Leon going through all the different styles of dance with the music that matched each decade. Since its upload the video has garnered millions of hits.

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon’s Evolution of End Zone Dancing is described as a history of dance through the celebration of touchdowns. This video hilariously kicks off football season, which began on Thursday, September 5.

In addition to Evolusion of End Zone Dancing, we’ve also seen Evolution of Dad Dancing, and the Evolution of Mom Dancing, which featured a few awesome dance moves by first lady Michelle Obama. In this video we get to see Timberlake’s best “Earthquake Waiter”, Fallon’s hilarious “Worm on a Leash”, and a personal favorite The “Football Spin” (Into The Love Scene From ‘Ghost’), which shows Timberlake holding Fallon a la Patrick Swayze, as they reenact the famous scene from the 1990 film.

For football fans this is a terrific tribute as Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon also take on classic end zone dances like the “Dirty Bird” and the “Ickey Shuffle.” However, some dance moves are clearly made up like the “Manti Te’o on a Date” and the “Old-Timey Railroad Car” but hey, who’s really going to be a stickler when you have two of the most charismatic people on television consistently entertaining viewers year after year?

In addition to the Evolution of End Zone Dancing, Timberlake and Fallon have also done a four-part Evolution of Rap, singing dozens and dozens of fan favorite raps throughout the decades. One only hopes that the two gather together to top their Evolution of End Zone Dancing video.
