‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Sadie: ‘We Are Praying For Miley Cyrus’

Duck Dynasty, the TV reality show centering around the Robinson family, has been – and continues to be – a big hit. The show has enjoyed success and viewer numbers which have way exceeded expectations.

The Robinson family came out last week in support of Sadie as she walked the catwalk at the Sherri Hill fashion show. Willie and Sadie spoke to Fox411 about their trials and tribulations and new-found success as celebrities.

“It’s tough. You know, the whole world is different now, so everyone knows who you are,” Willie said. “It wasn’t the way we were raised because we were raised really poor so nobody knew who we were. We’ll put it in the Lord’s hands so we’ll see what happens.”

Sadie then spoke about why she feels different from other young celebrities – like Miley Cyrus:

“My family has been praying for her (Miley Cyrus’) family. We feel very bad for her because we know how entertainment can get wrapped up in your head. We try to stay strong as a family. We just pray that their family comes back together.”

She continued to talk about her personal opinion of twerking: “I would never twerk in public. It is not modest to me but for the girls out there that do, it’s their decision.”

The Duck Dynasty family wants Sadie to like ducks too but not at the expense of her personal dreams and aspirations. Willie said:

“Sadie can do whatever she wants to do. She’s got a bunch of opportunities right now with the business but we’ll see,” he said. “I don’t want to be them in a slot. I just want them to do whatever they want.”
