Gwyneth Paltrow tells friends not to talk to Vanity Fair, Report

Gwyneth Paltrow Doesn’t Want Friends Talking To Vanity Fair, Report

This could be interesting. Reports suggest that Gwyneth Paltrow and Vanity Fair are at odds, and she is telling everyone she knows not to talk to the magazine.

The New York Times reported on Sunday, that Platrow, who is not making many friends lately, with her odd behavior, has a feud with the iconic fashion magazine.

What is exactly her problem with one of the most popular celebrity magazines in the world?

According to reports, the 40-year-old actress has a problem with some of Vanity Fair’s recent reporting on incidents such as Brad Pitt’s difficulties in making his latest movie World War Z and Tom Cruise’s issues with the Church of Scientology.

The actress accuses the magazine of threatening to put her on their cover. So why is that a bad thing? Isn’t the celebrity world all about being seen?

The New York Times obtained an email in which Gwyneth Paltrow allegedly asks her pals not to talk to Vanity Fair:

Vanity Fair is threatening to put me on the cover of their magazine. If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline. Also, I recommend you all never do this magazine again.”

The quote was reported by someone who saw the email, according to The Times, and was allegedly sent to Paltrow’s friends in May.

For many years, Vanity Fair has been the magazine that people read when they wanted to look at the glossy pictures of their favorite celebrity wearing their fanciest outfits.

Now, it is coming under attack for doing it’s job, according to the magazine’s editor Graydon Carter,

“We wouldn’t be doing our job if there wasn’t a little bit of tension between Vanity Fair and its subjects. In any given week, I can expect to hear from a disgruntled subject in Hollywood, Washington, or on Wall Street. That’s the nature of the beast.”

This is, almost certainly, not the end of the story about the feud between Gwyneth Paltrow and Vanity Fair. Stay tuned.
