Daniel Radcliffe Sports An American Accent In ‘Horns’ Clip [Video]

Daniel Radcliffe appears exceptionally worried about the things growing out of his forehead in the latest clip from the upcoming horror flick Horns. He also sports a nifty American accent.

The Harry Potter star continues to push his career further away from his days as everyone’s favorite boy wizard. His latest effort finds him collaborating with Alexandre Aja, the director of such notable genre efforts as Piranha and The Hills Have Eyes remake.

Based on the novel by Joe Hill, the flick casts Daniel Radcliffe as a young man who begins growing a horns after the mysterious murder of his girlfriend. Juno Temple (The Dark Knight Rises) and Heather Graham (Boogie Nights) co-star.

The latest clip isn’t much to look at — the footage only clocks in at just 36 seconds — but it gives fans of the Woman in Black star a chance to hear his American accent. You may have to watch it several times to get the full effect, but it’s doubtful Radcliffe fans will have a problem with that.

Horns co-star Juno Temple had nothing but great things to say about the young actor. According to her, Daniel Radcliffe is an incredibly “giving actor.”

“We had to try and cram 15 years of life in about two weeks; I probably talked with him more than I have spoken in half of my life. We were really trying to explain who we were as human beings and develop this friendship because this is also the basis of Merrin and Ig, too. They are not just lovers; they are each other’s everything,” Temple told The Hollywood Reporter.

Although Horns recently screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, it’s unclear when the movie will find its way into theaters across North America.
