Read While You Run With New Clip On Tablet

By now we’ve seen all kinds of new gadgets in the last few years, but this one seems to be pretty unique. Weartons has created a clip on device for the person that is always on the go, letting its consumer read while running.

It’s considered the next best thing to audio books. For those who would like to read while running, and still better their body, the New York developers have come up with the appropriately titled Run-n-Read. Run-n-Read lets you read text on your electronic tablet as you run.

How does the Run-n-Read work? It’s easy. The device clips on to a headband, or another other place you can clip it on to. The device is compatible with an e-reader app on your tablet. What this app does is that it tracks your natural movement of your upper torso, including the head and shoulders.

For those who are actually worried about getting motion sickness, it doesn’t appear that this will be a huge problem to deal with. The app makes sure that the text bounces in your exact line of vision, so while you’re bouncing the text also bounces with you, not opposite from you. This is so that it appears you are reading stationary.

Those who are wondering how to turn pages, simply have to click the device once to flip a page, and twice to go back. Think of it as a modern say invention that’s akin to breaks on your bike.

So far the Run-n-Read is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. As far as the price, it’s pretty affordable for those that are super into gadget. The price retails at $55 for early adopters on the company’s website.
