Jenny McCarthy Will Chat With Donnie Wahlberg On ‘The View’

Jenny McCarthy will kick off her stint on ABC’s The View by interviewing boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg.

The New Kids on the Block singer will appear on the daytime chat show to promote the upcoming season of his police drama Blue Bloods. Producers are no doubt hoping the couple’s new romance will help bring viewers to the table Monday morning (September 9).

The former Singled Out co-host will join Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters on the season premiere. Singer Michael Buble is currently slated to appear as season 17’s first musical guest. The network is pulling out all the stops for Jenny McCarthy’s debut.

Although she might appear confident on the outside, the Dirty Love star admitted on her blog that she’s a little nervous about her new position with The View.

“Usually my nerves are more excitement-based, but I have a feeling I will be running into the bathroom at least a few times an hour before we go live on Monday,” she wrote.

She added, “I hope I do a good job for you and that you will allow me the chance to get better each year as I move onto this next chapter in my life. I’m blessed to have such amazing fans who have supported me for many years and stood by me when sh*t hit the fan. I am, and will be, eternally grateful.”

While her nerves may be a little frazzled at first, chances are Jenny McCarthy will get settled in before long. At least she will have Donnie Wahlberg on-hand during the premiere to help ease her into the new gig.

The couple recently made their first public appearance together at a Dancing with the Stars charity event in Illinois. McCarthy and Wahlberg have also posed together in a handful of Instagram photos.
