Syria World War 3 Bible Prophecy? Syrian Government Doesn’t Care If WW3 Starts

Some believe there are Syria World War 3 Bible prophecies that point to the coming confrontation between the United States and Syria’s allies.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, some believe World War 3 could be caused by Syria. An Obama satan photo has WW3 fears to blame for its popularity.

Reports of the Russian warship’s special cargo stoked fears of World War 3. Then today Russian President Putin said they’d help Syria if the United States attacked:

“Will we help Syria? We will. We are already helping; we send weapons and cooperate in the economic sphere.”

The Syrian government even says they don’t care if Syria causes World War 3:

“The Syrian government will not change position even if there is World War III. No Syrian can sacrifice the independence of his country.”

As tensions over Syria are ramping up some people are looking to potential Syria World War 3 Bible prophecy. The biggest Syria Bible prophecy is Isaiah 17, which affects the city of Damascus:

“Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.”

Some Bible experts believe this Bible prophecy was already fulfilled in in 732 BC when Assyrians destroyed Damascus. But others believe the exact terms have not been fulfilled based upon Jeremiah 49:23-27, thus making it part of end times prophecy concerning Jesus’ Second coming. But experts say the destruction of Damascus could be triggered by an attack on Syria:

“The prophet Isaiah predicts a quick war between Israel and Damascus, culminating with the total destruction of the city in a single night. In the event of a WMD attack against Israel, the destruction of Damascus would be Israel’s only defense against potential annihilation.”

Bible prophecy has a long history of influencing world events. Isaiah 44 predicted by name that King Cyrus of Babylon would restore Israel and rebuild Jerusalem hundreds of years before he was born. Alexander the Great did not destroy Jerusalem because of a dream he said was from God and because of Biblical predictions from the book of Daniel claiming the Greeks would overthrow the Persian empire. The division of Alexander’s empire into four parts is also claimed to be part of Bible prophecy. A 408 year old prophecy predicted the Jewish uprising of the Maccabees, inspiring the fight against Antiochus Epiphanes, who desecrated the Jewish temple and committed horrible crimes against humanity.

In more recent times, some say Biblical prophecy referred to 1917 as when 400 years of Turkish Muslim occupation would end. British General Allenby was told by the British government in London that Isaiah 31 referred to his invasion of Jerusalem. The Turkish thought Allanby’s name meant Allah en Nebi, or God’s prophet, so he was able to take the city on foot without conflict. Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 is said to confirm many Bible prophecies (Ezekiel 37:10-14; Isaiah 43:5, 6; 66:7-8) required for the end times to occur.

While some people may scoff at the idea of Syria World War 3 Bible prophecies or religious prophecies in general there are many who take the idea very seriously, including the leaders of powerful countries. For example, Iran’s Ahmadinejad believed the Twelfth Iman would usher in Islam’s messiah via World War 3, destroying the entire world in the process. Ten years before Ronald Reagan ran for President a minister named George Otis prophesied Reagan would lead the United States against all odds. Ronald Reagan and both George Bush’s used to consult Bible experts on how world events might fit into Biblical prophecy.
