Sony Ericsson To Reveal New Xperia Handsets On February 13

Sony Ericsson will unveil a new line of Xperia handsets on February 13th at the Mobile World Congress expo. Sony Ericsson is currently distributing a press invite that says users will “meet the new members of the Xperia family.”

While the exact devices to be revealed have not been announced, rumors point to the Xperia X12 as one of the announcements forthcoming. The X12 is believed to carry Google Android 2.3, while sporting a large 4.2-inch touchscreen and a Snapdragon processor. Other rumors points to 720p recording and a very nice 8.1 megapixel camera with HDMI output and 802.11n WiFi.

Another possibility is the PlayStation phone which may have Xperia branding upon release.

Other possibilities include the Xperia Arc, Xperia Duo and Xperia Neo, all trademark names recently filed by Sony Ericsson.
