Cher Goes Blonde For New Album Cover

Cher may be 67 years old but she’s channeling a much younger (and blonder) version of herself for the cover of her new album Closer To The Truth.

The singer’s new album, her 26th studio album, will hit stores on September 24 but Cher has already released a few teasers. She released the cover art this week as well as the lead single “A Woman’s World.”

The new single quickly hit No.1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart. It is the first non-soundtrack song that Cher has released since 2003.

Fans of Cher will have to wait a few more weeks to experience Closer To The Truth but according to Cher it is her best album to date. That’s saying a lot considering the fact that she’s put out 25 albums during her career.

It’s also a big statement considering the fact that Cher is not a Cher fan.

Cher said: “I think this is the best album I’ve ever done. The songs are so brilliant. I got so lucky… I would say, truthfully, I’m not a huge Cher fan, and I’ve said this a million times, but I think this is probably the best album I’ve ever done.”

Are you excited to hear some new Cher music? What do you think of the singer’s new blonde look?

Here’s the video for Cher’s “A Woman’s World.”

Cher isn’t the only musician making a comeback. Shania Twain recently announced that she was working on a new album.
