‘Thor: The Dark World’ First TV Spot Is Released By Marvel Studios [Video]

Thor: The Dark World has a brand new TV spot courtesy of Marvel Studios. Rejoice!

The new clip which goes a second over the one minute mark, gives fans a good tease of what’s to come in the new installment of the series.

We should all be happy to see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) again, trying to save the Nine Realms and protect his beloved Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).

Loki (Tom Hiddleston) got lots of screen time as well Hiddlestoners. That should tie you all up for the time being until we get an extended trailer.

In Thor: The Dark World, the Avenger continues his quest to save Earth from a dark enemy who has been around even before the Universe existed.

Following the events of Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers,Thor fights to restore order across the Universe, but an ancient race led by the evil Malekith returns and the Universe plunges into darkness once again.

Thor must take on his most dangerous task yet, which is made more personal since he seeks to protect Jane Foster. But will he have to sacrifice everything to save all of humanity?

The opening scene of the trailer has Thor coming to Loki, who sarcastically says, “You must be truly desperate to come to me for help.”

To which Thor answers, “I only wish I could trust you.” Loki says, “If you did, you are the fool I always took you for.”

What follows is a shot at Jane Foster who is in danger due to the powerful forces attacking Earth, but Thor is there just in the nick of time landing in front of her in keeping with his promise to return.

Thor: The Dark World is directed by Alan Taylor and is scheduled to be released on November 8 of this year.
