Kelly LeBrock Emerges From Life As A ‘Hermit,’ Apparently Wants Comeback

Kelly LeBrock became a hermit and hid out on a sprawling ranch in Santa Barbara, California for years. That’s what she told UK tabloid The Daily Mail on Wednesday.

After you see some of the photographs they published of her posing with rakes, a gun, and various livestock, you may wonder why the 53-year-old Weird Science actress didn’t remain in hiding. Yikes.

The photos belong to them, so go over there to check out the once-glamorous Kelly LeBrock’s photo shoot.

But don’t say I didn’t warn you if you can’t unsee some of these images. They call her gorgeous, but I for one don’t need to see a 53-year-old chunky chick pretending she’s Marilyn Monroe only in a red dress instead of a white one.

Because, you know, Kelly LeBrock was also the Woman In Red actress. And apparently she just can’t let it go.

As ABC described the situation, LeBrock was married to action star Steven Seagal for about a decade running from 1987-1996. They had three children. But the marriage was stormy, and she said that the break with Seagal gutted her self-esteem.

The split was so public and so horrible that she chose to move to the Santa Barbara ranch — where The Daily Mail said she does most of the chores herself. Well, maybe she does or maybe she doesn’t.

In any event, she claimed that, “I feared everything and didn’t want to leave the house…Sometimes I sleep three nights in a row outside with no tent, just under the stars. Just me and my horse. It brings me closer to the earth.”

So she’s getting older and a little strange. It happens to a lot of people. But why is Kelly LeBrock choosing to emerge with these little confidences now?

Can you guess?

Of course you can.

She’s writing a book. And she wants to return to Hollywood.

Maybe she needs to have a heart-to-heart with Melanie Griffith about how many roles Hollywood has waiting for fiftysomething eccentrics.

But, heck, maybe she needs the money. Large animal vets don’t come cheap.

In that case, welcome back and good luck to Kelly LeBrock.
